I thought it was the case at first, but after watched a few episodes, they changed her ability to be the exact same copy of Leuloch's. I'm disappointed. Leuloch's ability is to brainwash people to follow his commands. her initial ability is to give options, that means people can still have their consciousness while under her geass. It's a shame, we lost the chance to see an MC who can control people with a threat.
