Building a Zenith CH750 kitplane? Here is some build motivation for you! Every builder at some point experiences frustrations, or a lack of motivation. But it's worth pushing past that as there are a lot of adventures just around the corner once your airplane is finished.
I thought I'd make a fun flying video just for motivation if you happen to find yourself struggling to get back out to the garage or hangar and plug away!

Thank You for this. Maybe you don't know how much these videos are appreciated, so I need to let you know. I received my PPL in 1997, had a great career and things were looking up. Then in July 2000 I came down with Multiple Sclerosis. Needless to say I haven't flown since. I went through the wheelchair and dependent stages and now through the miracle of DRUGS I can do almost anything I set my mind to. I go along on your flights with a sense of awe, if not for some envy. Don't ever stop what you are doing, I need my therapy. I just wanted to say thanks.

Great video. Thanks so much for all your videos. I can’t wait to start on my own 750SD in the near future. Your videos have been very helpful. I have a few questions. A while back you talked about moving to Texas. Did you change your mind? What happened to that? What ever happened to your neighbors LS V8 Velocity? It’s been a while. Did he ever get it flying? Would love to know how that build turned out.
@KitplaneEnthusiast
@KitplaneEnthusiast 3 жыл бұрын
For various reasons I’m still in MI. Maybe after the Super Duty is done I’ll look into moving. The Velocity is still not complete as he can’t get the gearbox for the engine. That’s what happens when you do a one-off LS3 install. If he ever gets a gearbox then he can finish the engine install and bolt the wing on.

Don't know what day this was recorded on but it has been cold for the last three days where I live in Northeast, Ohio. Beautiful outside with a sparkling blue sky but cooler. This was recorded in Michigan on a very similar day. I've lived in at least four beautiful cities (Atlanta, Nashville, Louisville, and Columbus) and there are times when this is clearly the nicest place to live.

I'm considering a UL Power engine to replace the Jabiru 2200 @ 85 hp in my Skystar Pulsar III. Target output is 120hp but absolute minimum is 107. The UL260iS or 350 are very attractive to me but am concerned about the effect of always running 100LL. Do you ever run avgas? Would you avoid running UL Power in an airframe that must run 100LL?

Mark when I ordered my Cruzer 2 yrs ago I thought that I would be getting that lovely standard Windscreen like yours and as shown on the sales photos but they now come extended longer sides with Elephant ears that extend down the sides. Not good as it cant be cut back much and its hard to vacuum clean out the trapped insects down in that narrow gap where it tapers down and meets the sides. Is yours a standard Cruzer model windscreen, a special order windscreen, or did it come standard like that at the time you ordered your kit ? Another question is why do you Americans use statute miles and miles per hour when the ICAO world standard is KNOTS and Nautical Miles. You being an airline pilot would be using knots and Nautical miles. I know that the sales brochures in the USA quote the wrong terms just to make the aircraft appear to perform faster...ha ha. Cheers
@asiasmells71
@asiasmells71 3 жыл бұрын
You are right it is a marketing thing GA is in Knots.. but most kit manufactures list in miles... Saying that I have flown two 172s with indicators in miles. I always tried to rent one of the other ones as I was always scared I would forget and be to slow on base.... And end on on one of these channels as what not to do story haha

All the wind shields are the same. If you want it shorter on the sides like mine and the factory cruzer, you have to cut it down.
