Thank you for your intense interest in Knight Rider videos. I continue to work for the new episode. However, I have serious concerns about potential copyright problems. In order to stay connected to the original series, I watch each episode repeatedly. For using characters, sounds and music. Unfortunately, we do not have the chance to speak again. I do not know if it is possible to get the necessary permissions to continue this way. Is there anyone who can help with this?

I’m in marketing and I think you are likely unable to get away with this. But as long as you comply when the knock comes- and make these videos private- you will be ok. Usage rights are typically high, they have an asset at the end of its life cycle but they will milk it. Asking for permission is unlikely to give you the go ahead as they will lose creative control and set a precedent. One thought- if you drive traffic to something the publisher is monetising you might strike a deal.

No that wasn’t the Knight 3000, did you see a scanner? But it was the same kind of car. The creator of this is sending everyone a message. Not only does he not acknowledge the newer BS Knight Rider TV show, but if he did the real KITT would smoke the shit out of the Knight 3000. Edit.. I was wrong there’s a Knight plate on the Shelby, I was watching in LOW res and I missed it, later I checked in HD, it’s there and I’m a little disappointed in that. Anyway that thing is chirping gears and sounds like a normal car. I thought all knight riders were turbine.

@@davecue2 I do see the Knight plate but I don't see the scanner. I strongly believe Knight 3000 would smoke the shit out of Knight 2000. I am strongly "biased" to Ford but 3000 is newer, with better, stronger, sleeker technology with better disguise capabilities, better array of weapons, the car overall is faster.

Dave Cue I really think they started to find their stride once they stopped the government agency and shrunk the cast down to 4 primary cast members. By then the reputation was cemented but I really think the 2008 remake, at least the episodes released in 2009 were a lot better than the start of the season. And there were a lot of flop attempts at using the knight rider name that were way worse in my opinion. Team knight rider was an embarrassment, knight rider 2010 was irrelevant, and knight rider 2000 failed to start its tv show as it was supposed to be a pilot episode.

I've always thought the same thing, make like a 3 part episode even...Michael & K.I.T.T vs Garth & K.A.R.R Would Be Legendary! Personally, i aways felt that's how they should've introduced K.A.R.R in the original series. If you can do that then that would be truly awesome!

i love the idea of doing a KITT and Michael vs KARR and Garth. Goliath can still be around as both the muscle and as Garths version of the F.L.A.G. Mobile Unit. you could even build some betrayal in there with Garth only using KARR to free Goliath or find parts to rebuild him and KARR trying to use Garth to get closer to Michael. I thought both of these videos were awesome and they felt dead on to the tone of the series. fantastic job

"you get the feeling they are a little hostile" "feelings don't enter into it" is from the episode not a drop to drink when they were cut off by some tractors, kitt then went into ski mode and went backwards to escape them.. the 2 remote control cars with rockets are from Knight of the drones. This is awesome regardless.

Yeah this is working. Only a true fan can be so detailed. Sound is crazy. I think this is the only way Knight Rider can be revived these days in a detailed animated version. Hoff there is work still to be done lol.

The Trans Am still holds up even today. I had no problem with the Mustang itself, it looked very nice, the problem was it wasn't ahead of its time in terms of shape and features the way that new Pontiac Firebird was when it came out. Compared to the average American car, K.I.T.T. was other planets better looking, he legitimately passed as being a futuristic car. Mustangs just blend in with other nice muscle cars now, because most cars are decent looking these days, even entry level ones, not like those big box square things they had in the 80's. The other problem (main one) was that the newer show was just..well...dry. The protagonist was dry, K.I.T.T. was dry, the plot was dry, the action scenes were dry and the car didn't have turbo boost. Only thing that kept me watching was that Deanna Russo chick, she is seriously hot, OMG. Just used to daydream watching her.

The entire series should be redone in this fashion and released to streaming as well as DVD and/or Blu-ray. I'd buy it. Others would buy it. It's excellent, exciting, and fun. Yes, yes, there is the actual DVD collection, but this format has the potential to add additional seasons (figure out the voice casting if we ever got to that point). These "actors" don't age or decide to do other projects. Wishful thinking, but these mini episode scenes are such a joy to watch. I'd call NBC or whoever might hold copyright, but I don't want to get anyone in trouble. But, (hint hint) if someone had an inside track to make it happen, that'd be awesome. (Provided Kadir Deniz wanted to do it )

Love this Knight Rider video. And how all the right nostalgia buttons were pressed wit this vid. The rarely used; "Ski Mode" - Check, Stu Phillips season 1 music and incidental themes - Check, K.A.R.R. and the season 3 robot cars - Check. This video s amazing!! This is the best CGI I have ever seen in a fan project! Wow. The Michael Knight model looks exactly like David Hasselhoff! Well done! I was a child of the 80’s. I didn’t see season 1 or season 2(I was 5 in 1982-1983 and 6 in 1983-1984)but I watched season 3 in and season 4. I know the show ended in 1986. I was 9 and I was disipointed when NBC canceled it! Thank you for reminding me of the one childhood show my parents let stay up to watch! Please keep making more of this!
