Love Ventnor. Going there tomorrow. Been going since I was a child as my grandparents had a little place there. It's a beautiful little cove town with a lovely secluded and unspoilt feel to it. Staying there feels like travelling back in the time to the early 20th century with all the Art Deco architecture. In fact it was a health resort back at the turn of the last century. It's also the starting point for some of the best walks on the island. In the summer when it's very hot you can hear the New Forest Cicadas chirping and it feels like being somewhere much more exotic than the UK. On a clear night with no moon you can see the milkyway in the sky, and St Lawrence lighthouse beaming out over the channel from over the headland. So many happy memories.

Me too. Grandparents lived in Niton. We try to go every year and stay in Ventnor or St Lawrence. Our kids love it. Such a special place

The Spyglass in Ventnor is fantastic and great food and sea side seat's overlooking the Beach ⛱️🏖️⛱️🏖️

Thanks for the walk, As a garden lover🌴⚘🌲 I love the walk down the hill and seeing all the plants and the little pool with the Isle of Wight in it, Ventnor looks a beautiful place to visit.
