Looks great. You won’t need to worry about it for awhile, but PLEASE make sure you add wall anchors to the dresser. So many children are hurt by pulling dressers, nightstands, etc onto themselves while trying to climb up them or pulling themselves up. Even low ones an be really dangerous.

Lovely! I also painted my first baby girl's room Grey Owl, basically for all of the reasons you talked about. I loved it so much that I have since painted most of our house in it. My husband jokes that if he stands still to long he may find himself "Grey Owled."

Love the room, I’m so into being neutral as well, I have girls and I didn’t want anything pink( just to be different nothing more if you know what I mean) but my girls love pink and purple, oh well.

You see, no matter what pop culture, media and the nutty professors in university try to twist things into, your girls want what they want. Parents will find that the more you try to make your children a certain way, the more they will go the other. This can be seen with a lot of the new generations becoming more conservative since their parents are very liberal.

LOL, no. The nursery is mostly used for diaper changes, feeding, tummy time and folding laundry at the moment. In a couple of months she'll transition to the crib.

How did you come to choose the name Harriet? I was named for my grandfather Harry who died shortly before I was born.
