@@Kivrus How can you not? Nearly the entire survivability kit of a hunter lies in countering melee classes. Deterrence is useless against an afflock, since your dots still ticks while it is up. Disengage is also a melee counter ability. Scatter shot, Snake trap, and frost trap are also melee counter abilities used to create distance which doesn't affect you as much as a wlock.. BM hunter is also not nearly as popular in pvp as MM is since all it has is Beastial Wrath. MM has access to much better abilities like Readiness, Silencing shot (the only anti-caster ability they have), and Chimera shot (disarm with scorpid sting, another melee counter ability).

In 1x1 bm is not that rare. As for MM - sometimes you can face high geared MM who can almost one shot you just during one silencing shot if he got lucky. So yeah in most cases u should win but it depends

@@Kivrus I am not saying that it is a guaranteed win for the afflock vs a hunter. Hunters can really pump and do a lot of damage quickly, I am just saying that most of their survival tools aren't very useful against a dot caster like affliction warlock or shadowpriest, like they would be against melee classes. Their strength lies in kiting and controlling melee classes and being able to counter them with scatter, deterrence, disarm and disengage when they get close, but these tools aren't very good vs dot classes that don't really care as much about temporary immunity or creating some distance.
