I just finished my KiwiCleaner. It went very well -- no problems with it. Frank (the owner) has a discord server available if you need help or have questions. I am happy with the machine.

Thank you for posting this. Very interested in making one. Problem is don't have a 3D printer nor don't know much about filament types or 3D printing. Reading CNET 3D printing guide now. Saw a cost effective printer online for $200 (Anycubic Kobra 2) - Like to tinker and make stuff so a 3d printer sounds interesting and this is a great excuse project to buy one. Question: do you have any idea how much it would cost to get these parts printed by a service? a guesstimate is enough. Trying to figure out the best way to go. Get a 3D printer (and use it to make other stuff in the future) or if getting them printed is inexpensive perhaps I just get them done. Tempted to get a watch cleaning machine and a 3d printer for the price of those indian machines in ebay.

I was lucky as he printed the parts for me as part of doing the video :) I believe there are many company's which would print it for but I also think having a 3d printer would be really handy to have in the long run. let me how it goes

@@boydsargeant7496 Thanks 👍🏻He didn't say but could be worth dropping a line to a printer place and ask them , the parts are all visible on the website I believe ,

Hi There, Great video well presented and bags of information to make notes with, I also watched the build video which was very informative. I've messaged Frank from 'Kiwiwatch cleaner' also regarding the product. I'm based in London/UK just wanted to ask did you have any problems/issues with obtaining any parts from other sources, also does the instructions come with wiring info. If the motor and LCD require DC voltage of say 12v or 24v I've got a switch mode lab power supply I built a couple of years ago and was thinking of using that instead when need be. Thanks, Carl
@ClickSpringReview5 ай бұрын
Hi Carl , glad you enjoyed the videos :) The instructions cover everything in a step by step fashion including the wiring, When it came to ordering the parts he includes links to them all, the only link which didn't work was the heater unit but I can email you the one I went for Carl. If it helps I could save you some money with the nuts and bolts as I have the ones you need

@@ClickSpringReview Hi There, Thank you very much for replying back any information you can provide would be very helpful if it isn't too much of a problem. I'd be interested in purchasing any surplus parts I'm just waiting reply back from Frank who messaged me earlier with some info. He suggested I purchase the build manual first and order the hardware. Once I've assembled the parts then look at either building an LCD control unit or purchasing the one from his website. I will most definitely do the latter I also asked him if I could power the machine from by bench power supply which ranges from 0-30 volts with maximum 15 amps. Thanks, Carl :-)
@ClickSpringReview5 ай бұрын
I'd 100% say go for the control unit I have as its much easer to wire up than the older one Carl 👍🏻

Hi There, Sorry to ask another question the glass jars you purchased do you have the dimensions. I'm just waiting for 3D printer to arrive, I've also ordered parts from AliExpress do you still have spare nuts and bolts. Carl
@ClickSpringReview5 ай бұрын
Hi Carl I'll check the jars later for you as for the nuts and bolts yes I should have I'll have to check all the sizes you need again

I’d rather pay more for one of these already built and tested. I done even know where I’d go to have parts printed. And there’s no way I’ll ever be competent enough with a computer to figure out how to buy my own 3d printer and use it.
@ClickSpringReview2 ай бұрын
You can always pass the files onto a company who could print them for you the rest of the build is pretty straight forward mine is still running perfectly

Hi Barry, how robust is this? Is there not a Chinese option for a cleaning machine? This Kiwi seemed to be hard work to operate, but providing it is effective and hard wearing enough for professional use then top marks! LG Bob ⌚ 🍻
@ClickSpringReview6 ай бұрын
The display makes it really easy Bob as for the spinning it around that will looser up over time I dare say , I don't know of any Chinese one as I did look before getting this one , I do know of an Indian one but that costs more and looks to be 50/50 when you check out the reviews matey .
