I used to be singer in a band called Neglectid Toyz. We played with Kix a few times (leading off). Once at the Network (which later became AL Gators which was south of Hammerjacks in Batimore). Kix was underrated and very talented. Steve (Whiteman) was always very nice to us and talkative. Some of my best memories...and later Whiteman's son Cody became good friends with my niece Caitlan.

As someone who first learned of them all the way over in North Dakota in 1981, by the time 1991 rolled around they were known for Don't Close Your Eyes and Blow My Fuse - but my faves will always be from the first record. Wish I would have seen them live when the original lineup was intact.

I've seen KIX in concert quite a few times, among other really great bands, but I must say that KIX is the BEST!! Love them!!

My goodness. This is coming up on 30 years later. I just saw Kix a few weeks ago in Frederick. It was a great time, but this was one of the best Kix shows I've ever been to. The first one I went to without my older brother.

I was at all of these shows. Legendary, fabulous, way underrated most fun band ever! So glad they're performing again, I look forward to every show. Steve still kills it after 30 years! Best front man and best live band!

I have so many memories of this great place. I lived about a mile away from Hammerjacks. I saw many concerts there. Kix,Trixter,Black Crowes,Warrant,Britney Fox,Iggy Pop and many others. Hopefully the new Hammerjacks will be just as popular. My favorite club to hang in back in the 80’s and 90’s.

New Hammerjacks? No shit? This place was iconic. There were so many awesome rock clubs and theaters back in those days. They were everywhere.

Firehouse, Poison, Cinderella, LA Guns, and for that matter, Guns and Roses couldn't hold a candle to theses guys. God Bless KIX!!!

Doesn’t matter what stratosphere GnR was on. They had one good album. Axl Rose was and is an egomaniacal prick and ruined the band.

Ty so much for uploading. I too was at this show. 22 yrs old, drove down from Pa almost every other night to live at HJ's and always caught every Kix show there. This is the real deal. The new incarnation can't hold a candle to this original lineup. Donnie's song writing and stage performance is still being talked about to this day. Such great times at Hammerjacks when ever Kix was on stage!

That is a tight tight tight well rehearsed rock band. Nothing sloppy about it. Full driving straight ahead. Not alot of dynamics but who cares. Effortless, every move choreographed. I love it because it doesn't look that way its so fluent and natural appearing, but every move harmonic squeal consistent. As a player in it it can be redundant b\t for an audience its as pro as it gets. Steve........the best!

Mr. Logic Pants My pleasure! From one 50-year-old to another, you should try to see them live some time. I'll be at M3 next month to catch them again!

I'm 31 and I've had the pleasure of learning singing techniques from Steve for about six months and opening for Kix everytime they come to Lancaster PA my band opens for any 80s hair act that comes through the area and Steve is one of the best performers and just an all around great guy. Go see them live Kix is one of the few bands from.the 80s that still do a kick ass show just like when they were in their prime. I promise it will be one of the best shows you see from a band from this era

I dont know how or why a Kix video came up in my feed, but god damn Im glad it did. I remember having their first album on a cassette and wearing it out from listening to it over and over. Man I miss those days.

I saw Kix at least 3 times at the Mad Monk in Wilmington, NC and me and my friends would make the trip to Goldsboro or Atlantic Beach NC to see them if they weren't coming here. They never disappointed and were probably the best live band I have ever seen. Entertaining as hell. They were also very loud. I couldn't hear for a few hours after a show. I wouldn't trade the experience, temporary hearing loss and all.
