I so agree! I would love to hear him add his bluesy country folksy voice to some of the classic gospel tunes! He and his wife do an awesome rendition of Farther Along with Leslie Jordan. Can't wait to hear more!

I like how y’all were talking about making a concert feel intimate even if there’s thousands of people there. To me I felt like that when I saw KISS bc gene Simmons gets on a mini stage that moves around the whole room and even though I was sitting in the back he got right up to my face. Paul Stanley walked to the back and started singing too. Also just saying stuff how they appreciate their fans makes the concert feel a lot more special.

I admire both these guys as writers & performers...Chris is a genius and my favorite B & D song is "You're Gonna Miss Me." the world needs more songs like that. what a great interview!!! And I get what they're saying about playing the bars & clubs. I just finished a tour of dive bars across the Southeast. I loved every minute--but it would have been nice to have someone tuning my guitar.

In the beginning the guy is talking about how it's so random that one can ride the wave of popular success. And while that might be true, this is not the case with Chris Stapleton. This man is set apart from the ordinary and resides in a basket with those with a unhindered, unobstructed, pure beam of direct hitting musical awesomeness.

to answer Chris Stapletons Question, when he says he doesnt know what that magic is, when in a large Arena, and to make it sound intermate, i think its presence on stage, and he has that,i watched him also on Howard Stern show, and he wasnt swearing like Howard, this is a really nice guy, with a bunch of talent im a fan of the man, and the talent.

sheltondk43 it’s not really either of those things. There are amazing artists out there that will never be discovered and there are awful artists that have record deals. It’s a luck based system, built around connections you have in the labels
