Tractor Detective Kenny Kizzle! Very interesting analysis of your grandpa's M. That tractor has definitely lived a tough life. All the more reason it needs a top notch restoration. Enjoyed the walk around, thank you!🚜👍

Thanks for the update. Lots of work on the M but can’t put a price tag on grandpa’s tractor! Can’t wait for the next video!

Hang in there Kenny you have alot on the plate to say grace over, both tractors will look great when done. Will be great to see the video on both.

I envy you, Kenny. Having such a tangible connection to your grandfather, being able to make it like it was when he had it. I can only imagine how wonderful that feels. Thanks for the video.

It's going to be a wild ride, but we will get it back to its former glory!

Worked hard, but you can "fix" her, they were designed with service in mind. Although many major parts have been replaced over the decades, it's still your grandfather's tractor ❤

The nent steering tree reminds me of a M that had been rolled. Old tractors tell a story. Sentimental value . It was easier 30 years ago good used parts were available. Thank you Kenny.

There are still a lot of parts out there - just gotta know where to look!

Oh boy Kenny! I feel for you on grandpa's M. In addition to your massive list, it also looks like the rear tires are weather checked and only so-so as well. Ummmmmm Kenny, are you sure about this?
@KennyKizzleRustyNutzRanch3 ай бұрын
Yes. The rear tires are checked but in ok shape as far as tread depth. One of them has fluid in it, and the rim is rusted away around the valve stem. Not ideal, but that's what we've got.

My Farmall AM has a cast oil pan Verry heavy to lift on and off by yourself, also we have a A554 Farmall which has a 4 and half inch higher steering post .

Never seen a cast iron oil pan on an M! Unique!

Couldn’t you weld the hole in shut on the hydraulic support, the drill back to the correct size ? Might save some money.
@KennyKizzleRustyNutzRanch3 ай бұрын
That is a cast iron piece. Tough to weld cast iron. Besides, I could probably just grab a whole steering pedestal assembly with the hydraulic rod support arm..
