Everyone knew she was pregnant. I don’t think saying congratulations to someone you are interviewing is rude or weird (she didn’t grab her stomach). Blake honestly overreacted and was unprofessional by saying it back. I think her friend tried to lower the temperature by talking about her own lady bumps. She was obviously triggered and then couldn’t bring herself to get over it and accept that the interviewer obviously didn’t mean to hurt her feelings. This was actually a pretty normal professional interview with pretty basic comments and questions (and Blake chose to make it very awkward). This paints her in a bad light, as she is the one who had the unprofessional reaction and handled her own emotions badly. I do like Blake as an actress, but I think she was unnecessarily mean to this interviewer for her own quite clearly personal issues.. strangers can’t know your issues or read your mind. That’s why we have to give people the benefit of the doubt or tell them if they crossed a line they did not see. There is a kind way to say you are not comfortable talking about something and then there is a mean girl way to get back at someone very passive aggressively as done. How you treat the little people especially says everything about you.. but of course this could just be her being sensitive about her body. Yes.. Celebrities are people and can have bad moments, but they also should not get off the hook for clearly rude behavior. We shouldn’t let either be the norm in Hollywood. Also, I think she was writing for a fashion magazine.. so yeah she was guntz ta ask her about the fashion she wore in the movie. But they had to be so cringe about it. You’re asking about the clothes? I didn’t see that coming whoa

Because there’s current drama surrounding Blake. I just think it’s sad, Blake probably doesn’t even remember this. While this lady has remained bitter all this time. It should take more than a few words that aren’t meant with ill intentions to make someone want to quit. As someone who has miscarried, I don’t have bitterness towards other women who don’t have or haven’t had that same struggle. Her clothing is baggy and again Blake didn’t know her past struggles, and maybe she could have left the congratulations out of it and just kept it about the movie. It was simply a comment, not earth shattering. Maybe she’s in the wrong line of work, I hope she is able to be a mother however that be. The most sensible approach is to distance yourself from individuals whose energy does not resonate with you, and instead, surround yourself with those whose vibes align with your own. I think the journalist did something behind the scenes even before she started the rudeness with her "bump" commentary. The women just read her and thought they could do this and they weren't wrong either obviously cause she was left speechless. I mean, who asks someone about their bump instead of their baby? It might be a translation problem (German) but that plus coupled with knowing the English-speaking women have the upper hand led to this seemingly rude ignoring. And honestly, if someone that I already find dubious starts an interview with me asking me about my bumps, in the presence of a friend, I'd start ignoring her too...until she gets a clue that we don't speak like that in English. Parker looked like she was trying to keep it lighthearted. I really don't see her at fault here; the interviewer was caught off guard by the remarks. I'm sure Parker was as well; the Interviewer was trained to remain calm, and professional, Parker is trained to be charismatic and fun for the interview. In retrospect she could have said or did something about it, but it's a lot easier to make that judgment years later watching it on replay from a distance. I know when I see people possibly digging a hole, I don't have much time to quietly analyze and start digging into them like a parent; sometimes it's best to roll with the punches and try to make it funny or not to make a big deal out of the situation at hand, in an effort to lighten the mood.
