Actually found his channel first but I’ll be unsubscribing now he just seems extremely fake plus your much more intuitive also props to you for using this as your outlet

You don’t have to unsubscribe to him. He’s on his first build, so his won’t be as locked in because he is still figuring things out. I would not have put videos of my first one, it would have been stressful and i had to learn a lot, so it probably wouldn’t have been very good. This doesn’t have to be a me vs him, you can watch both our builds 👍🤟😎

She’s been on the wheel a lot. She loves the donuts but doesn’t like going fast. Atv engines are so awesome for dads. It will top out at 90 or cruise along without feathering the clutch at 3-5. And has reverse!

@@KJRaycing Yes! When I saw you reverse out of garage, it really made me consider rethinking using a motorcycle engine as the value of reverse is high. Every kid needs some wheel time!!!

@@KJRaycing might have. This was some years ago, between 2000 to 2005 I think? I spent a day out there just getting permits and ID’s and taking a class on the rules and guidelines of working across the flight line. No FOD was a big thing when crossing over the runway. We worked on the restoration of the bathrooms in the big hangers. We did the tile part of the job.

Depends on what you are building. I have pro with sheetmetal module. I dont have a full metal shop so the other ones didnt seem like they would be worth it to me.

You may have tried it and everyone is different. But have you tried different color markers, then tracing out the routing on the wiring diagram with them, I know older diagrams will have shorthand on the diagram with a key for the colors. Making copies of the original then marking the copy is better, as better to spoil that than original if you make a mistake, used to use color coding when doing research as well. If the diagram is in color, tracing individual bits you need, on separate sheets, so you can flip through can remove the spaghetti in front of the eyes when reading sometimes.
@KJRaycing3 жыл бұрын
I actually enjoy wiring, soldering and rebuilding electrical stuff. But when the references are not there it means more time reading and decoding than building. The wiring diagram is black and white and very vague. Yamaha just highlighted different systems in the same “map” without color coding or even stating what size wire. I’ll get there eventually, just a speed bump not a road block 😎. Thank you for the comment!

Would a 1000cc sport bike engine work in this?
@KJRaycing3 жыл бұрын
I’ve never put one in, but i wouldnt hesitate if i had one. The 600 fits with plenty of room, I dont think it is that much bigger.
@keelandavis3 жыл бұрын
@@KJRaycing I’m definitely considering buying your plans and trying to source a 1000cc to go in. I actually really like the look of your kart better than a standard cross kart. You did a great job designing it!
@KJRaycing3 жыл бұрын
I spent a lot of time designing this for builders, so we could all have a fun toy. I know everyone wants the big hp and displacement numbers, but this is fast and fun with pretty much any motor in it. I absolutely smoked 200hp rzrs and can ams with a 40hp polaris atv motor. This set up is nearly 1/3 of the weight and can be flicked around like an rc car. I really wanted to share an inexpensive and solid race car with the world. Thank you for following.
@keelandavis3 жыл бұрын
@@KJRaycing That does make a lot of sense. Another upside to a four wheeler motor is having reverse. What is the top speed?
@KJRaycing3 жыл бұрын
It bounces off the rev limiter in top gear at 87mph. It could easily be geared for 100, i just like rowing the gears. When i get the ktm 525 and the yamaha 600 i’m going to do a video on performance and pro’s and con’s of each. I was going to gear the 500 for 100mph and do a recorded run, but i have a family and too much to lose to get caught. Maybe this summer 🤟
