I use to be a foster parent, an adoptive parent, and a permanent guardian. I was told not to take the kids to church. I took the kids to church and church activities. The kids knew we were not suppose to go, but they wanted to go. The social workers never said anything. This was in San Francisco.

When I was a kid in the 50s the owner of the Coast to Coast would open up a tub of catfish bait, which stank, and tell me that's what they did with all the left handed catchers. I submit that's what we should do with the left handed politicos. 😂

Here we have the Commander-in-Chief of the most powerful military forces in human history, and nobody we know knows where he is or even whether he's alive or dead. It could be movie. I'd be very surprised if the Private Eye story about Welby was untrue, as Private Eye is published by Ian Hislop a highly regarded journalist renowned for his TV journalism, who has not been afraid to publish controversial material, and has rarely been successfully prosecuted, Information from Zimbabwe was not difficult to obtain at that time, and money could easily be transferred

At 39:10 Over the last 20 years I've had several interesting and pleasant talks with Reverend _______ the Chaplain at a local children's hospital. He's one of the most pleasant, grounded, centered, calm, and intelligent men I've ever met. (He's fluent in English, Spanish, Latin, and Hebrew, and can read Aramaic.) He has what I can only describe as an aura of peace and calmness, the very thing needed for families facing the worst nightmare parents can have. The hospital is in a largely Hispanic and Catholic area, he's a Hispanic guy, and from his Catholic-looking collar I took him for a Catholic priest. After a couple years I made some comment to that effect (I'm Catholic myself) and he explained that he's a Protestant minister, but that "it brings comfort to many of the families for the Chaplain to look this way". A few years later when we met again he smiled and said something to the effect of "now I'm required to wear this collar." "How so?" "I'm a Catholic priest now." And so began another fascinating conversation with this interesting gent.

The corruption of prostitutes in bars/clubs/corners paying to be there happens in the US as well. The same with drug dealers in various institutions and locations. You could call it the Chicago Way where I grew up. One could argue our pharma is a drug dealer. Many drugs addict say the go to various pharmacies to get thier drugs. Much of this is even state sanction is places like Las Vegas.

GEORGE: "Old fart", as a description of Spring chickens of your age? I'm seventy-two; so what does that make me? I know: a "decrepit old fart"! You have both taught me a lot about the Biden situation. I think to refer to 'Biden Head', as a describtion of elderly cerebral 'absenteeism, is much more polite than 'demented'! Regarding Justin Welby, the man is to the Church of England, what Johnson was to the Conservative Party of the UK: a Globalist-Communist, emplaced in order to destroy the Institution which has placed its trust in him. Why is he continuing to behave like a 'Colonial Bishop of Rome'? Whilst I don't support the hierarchical clerical structure of the Church, Welby should be made to vacate the 'Chair of Augustine'; so that the Church of England (alone) might carry out a discernment process, to identify the right person to lead the Church into an increasingly secular and diverse society. This means that person needs to be an excellent Theologian, and 'Jesus scholar', before anything else. Welby - rather than focusing on the attacks on Christians by devout Muslims (Jihadists) TODAY - prefers us to focus on the events of 17th - 18th Century Africa, when Europeans and Americans bought slaves; sold to them by Tribal Chieftains and Islamic slave merchants.

@Mark_Dyer12 ай бұрын
@@davidsprouse151 Here in the UK they do. Whereas the C of E could once have been "the Conservative Party at prayer", it is now, definitively, the "Labour (or even Globalist-Communist) Party at prayer". But, that is if the C of E is defined by what it really is - the 'Church-of-Clergy' - and their associated bureaucracies. Instead of swallowing any gospel about Jesus of Nazareth, it promulgates any gospel its political masters think it should. More obsessed with 'climate emergency' than the God who became man.

Jamaica is a complex place. It is matriarchal born out of the slave era. The drug trade is ubiquitous, and yes, politics is corrupt and the parties control the jobs down to the local level. In the 80's, when we lived there, elections were waged by armed gangs of guys riding around in pickup trucks terrorizing the opposition because their jobs depended on the outcome. The education system is two tiered. There are a few elite schools for the privileged, and the public funded ones (were/are) are a joke. The system is based on the British model that weeds out rather than train the masses for a healthy economy. Yes, Jesus is the answer ultimately, but Jamaica is full of churches, and the message doesn't translate into root causes and solutions of the systemic problems.

Nobody in their right minds will commit to giving money to the CofE. This is the final countdown!
@Mr_G9772 ай бұрын
Indeed. After forty nine years as a paid up Anglican I left three years ago the CofE and now worship in a Baptist Church that holds firmly to orthodox biblical Christianity. I could not continue to contribute to finance the activities of the CofE and rather than debating the theology and being ignored decided that withdrawing funding would have more impact on making the point that the CofE has lost its mandate and no longer worthy of support. I would not free load so it was time to find another church family. Without funding from the pews the CofE will wither, which sadly seems the best possible outcome given its current agenda and assimilation with the spirits of this age of Godlessness. Blessing and prayers for Kevin and George,

And if the King James Bible was good enough for St. Paul living under the reign of 1st century Roman Emperor Nero (who would later execute both him and St. Peter), then that's good enough for me living during 21st century American politics. 3.
