Have to give props to the pit crew guys who go over the wall each and every weekend. That’s some scary stuff.

This is why we wear fire suits when we race. No excuses. Kudos to the drivers and crews for being absolute warriors during these scary put road fires.

At least it’s not as bad as watching drivers crash their stock cars crashing into every living thing in sight (including each other), or flipping them over multiple times on the track.

Gotta thank all these pit crew members every weekend. Truly some dangerous situations they are in.

I was the fuel guy on my pit crew, once the fuel erupted into a great fire but we were down by 2 points to win the championship so I stayed in there pumping gas into the tank until it was packed full while sustaining 4th and 5th degree burns to my face and undercarriage regions. They put me out with an extinguisher and I was burnt to a crisp but remained on pit road to watch our driver win the championship on a stretcher while getting doused in water bottle water. It was heroic and I have scars to prove it. We won the race and took the $500 race winnings to the bar that night and I ended up in the ICU a week later with infections and peeling skin.

@@namemcnamerton4249 No this was the midwestern eastern all star A select national advanced series in 2020. It is basically stock cars that are a higher level than arca, but just shy of xfinity. It is ripping fast cars, and tons of beating and banging, on and off the track if you know what I mean.

Oh Man I think that fire will make it Changes in time but it is so good to hear that save your own pit crew!!!

5:40, you know you got the right people around you when a fuel fire breaks out under them and the only thing they care about is getting that tire changed.

At least all drivers are wearing fire-proof suits enough to get burnt by a molotov.
