Great review buddy! You've got a new follower. I have driven harrier ( XT plus MT 2021 Feb) for at least 40,000 kms. The Cons I would like to recapitulate for potential buyers. 1. Visibility is an issue, You'll get used to it after a while. Go for front parking sensors as an Accessory from TATA. 2. Steering is super sensitive at high speeds. Needs a bit more weight 3. Rear suspension is a little bumpy as compared to Safari (but not as bumpy as Fortuner 😄) 4. Buy the AT instead of MT, the left knee touches the Dashboard if the seat is adjusted other than its lowest settings. 5. Audio system other than the top variants is very average 6. The touchscreen needs significant improvements 7. The NVH levels are good (Comparing it to my Fortuner AT) 8. Steering makes groaning noise when steered fully, It is due to the Pressure of the steering pump (But I didn't like it being a 25lakh car ) 9. The AC console has an irritating rattling sound, But it isn't there all the time so I ignore it. Didn't want my dashboard dismantled so ignored it. (It is with my vehicle only) 8. The car pulls left. Even after multiple alignments. But the good thing is the tires are in good condition despite the left pull. 9. The cold starts sounds like a tractor 10. The lights are very average, Had to upgrade my foglamps to Bi-Xenon projectors. But everything vanishes when you start driving the vehicle, It's a mile muncher. I would suggest waiting if they launch something new for the harrier and the safari in the upcoming Auto expo 2023. Cheers !

Hi Karan , Another BHPian this side Good review . Loved the swot analysis and the research on Gearbox as this will help the folks not to go for remap as the maximum torque rating is 360 NM . In weakness we can include after sales and constant niggles . I think the fit and finish and other QC issues are due to the manufacturing of Harrier in Pimpri plant rather than in Ranjangaon . Nexon has less issues compared to Harrier

Amazing review! I’m finalising the XZA+ Harrier next week. The infotainment screen seems to be flickering in your review as compared to the Instrument cluster screen. Was there an issue with this model or is it because of the video recording? I saw similar screen flickering issues on team-BHP.

@satyenarke4 жыл бұрын
Nothing to worry about that flickering @ashish. It is due to the difference in the refresh rates of the screen and the video camera. This phenomenon can be also be observed in various other videos too, specially with DRLs.

Boot us linked with the Central locking system and so is the fuel lid. So if you unlock the doors, the boot and the fuel lid will also be unlocked and you can press the electro-magnetic button (below tata logo) and open it. So because of this, there is no button inside the cabin to open that. Hope this helps:)

6:02 It is not 36KG- M Cube. It is 36KG-M. Or You can convert KG into Newton and say 360 N-M. If units are wrong, everything is wrong.!!!

Ok, yes was a slip of tongue due to mixture of thoughts. BTW my video also happens to be the most technically deep review for the Harrier A/T with information which no one elz on KZbin has spoken of(ok, enough of bragging, sorry but its true) On that note kindly forgive me. Also thanks for watching the video so minutely and sharing your inputs. Regards!

@@KKCOnAMotive I came to your video from TBHP although I am not a member. Your review is good because you didn't speak about the touch screen and other usual gizmos. IMO, true auto enthusiasts are not interested in overly sensors driven machines. Cars or tractors, it is the understanding of the mechanicals that matters. Also I see many people in TBHP complain about very very silly things which takes away the essence of Man-Machine relationship originally conceived by TBHP (?). Also I see unnecessary brand /nationalistic / geopolitical opinions creeping into TBHP discussion threads. Overall, your video scored A.

Seriously.. rear camera is decent quality, I don't need to see HD movies on rear camera.. I booked a harrier yesterday after test driving almost all the cars in 20-25 lakh on road price category.. it's the most value for money with best ride quality by far. And no one buys AWD. That's a nitpick and not a genuine weakness. Weakness is what's wrong in existing car and whatever they have given is great except that parking break.. useless

@ashit ji - If we are talking about the new Tuscon, it now comes with a 8 speed AT (Diesel). So it's different as per the nomenclature Karan mentioned
