Talking about UNESCO, you guys should consider visiting Langkawi on your next visit to Malaysia. Langkawi is a duty free island with many interesting attractions. Langkawi is also the first UNESCO geopark in Southeast Asia, the 52nd in the world. It has a limestone rock formation that aged 550 million years ago. It also has a granite peeble dropstone from the supercontinent that aged a billion years ago. Sabah, on the other hand, is one of the only three locations (China & Korea) that has triple UNESCO geopark sites.

Many commented that the animals you saw on the electric pole are civets. That's right but there are many species of civets and those are the palm civets to be exact. They look like they are wearing the 'Zorro' like mask, aren't they? Good find, quite rare to see them in town.

I was here for a wedding a couple days ago. Melaka is very nice. Ikan bakkar Haji Musa is a great grilled fish restaurant. Opposite masjid selat is a great food shop, really small with a fried chicken stall outside. The beef curry and fried chicken is like homemade food. Your Mrs looks like a proper Malaysian with that headscarf 😂
