Just a week ago, I gushed over how Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door is one of my favorite RPGs of all time. That game is 20 years old, yet in all that time the only other game to even approach the feel and quality of TTYD is Bug Fables. That should be extremely high praise for an indie game made by a much smaller team, and I’m confident it was made by developers who love Paper Mario just as much as I do. And its soundtrack is excellent - I cannot believe that composer Tristan Alric hasn’t composed for any other games. Here’s yet another battle theme that I fell in love with as soon as it first played. Check the description for a link to the soundtrack.
