This is so incredible! Hearing the thoughts that you keep in mind animating Klaus, how you handle expression and how each drawing that follows another just feels so right is wonderful to watch! I can’t wait to see the tie down!

Welp, the film's a masterpiece, that's for sure, and it's great to see all the hard work that was put into making the film as good as it was, and it thoroughly deserves all the good ratings and praise it got. Good job people. I wish I could animate like that... and maybe someday i will heh, but videos like this are good to see.

That's amazing. I would have animated the mouth + eyes only first but you went for the whole thing immediately. Crazy skills!

Hello! I want to thank you so much for these videos, they are really beautiful, seeing so many people pour parts of themselves in such a wonder of a project. I have a small question, in this video we see the rough animation done in real time or is it a bit sped up? I think it is on normal speed, taking in consideration that you have so many talented people on your team. I want to thank you again, this movie is one of the best things i have ever seen in my life, hope you are all good and take care of yourselves.

At 22:35 you can actually see the timer for the recorder he's using and how it took just under 17 minutes for the footage you're watching to reach it's current point. Maybe it was started late?

@@Bombedrumbum aaa thanks a lot, must've not payed attention right there!

As an animator, going at this speed would be physically impossible in terms of just navigating through the program, let alone taking the time to carefully think through each line. My guess is that the process was sped up by maybe 600% and the recording was done in multiple parts.
