Oh my god this was so amazing. You showed how much Klaus cares for Caroline so beautifully. Everyone knows that Klaus is capable or horrible, monstrous things and the fact that he continuously let Tyler go so not to lose Caroline forever (even when she and Tyler weren't together anymore) says so much about what he feels for her. @@tomriddle8780 To be fair. At the time if Klaus died they would have all died because they were from his sired line. So he pretty much broke things off with Caroline for a pointless revenge. Klaus on the other hand has always imposed his will and would kill for the smallest offense. Him showing mercy to Tyler is a big deal for his character. Especially after Tyler tried to kill his unborn child.

Omg, how... I came here just because it was a video of yours, not really expecting to feel much about it after all of these years... But damn it. You did it. God, how is it possible that after almost 3 years I see this and the memories, the feelings, and all that Klaroline ever meant to me, all come rushing back... Out of all your amazing klaroline videos, out of all the amazing klaroline videos on every platform, this is my favorite. The music, the editing, al of course just pure klaroline chemistry makes this so incredible to watch. It’s their story and it’s perfect, it shows perfectly why we ship them, why Tyler was never the right choice, why klaus and her are the same and needed eachother. This is the best video out there, I come to rewatch your klaroline videos whenever I rewatch the vampire diaries (which is like once a month since I was 8, I’ve been obsessed for 7 years haha) and I’m always left KNOWING that this is the perfect otp is every way shape and form. Okay so Stefan is my #1 romantic partner for Caroline, and Matt is #2 - Caroline/Matt were my first TVD ship before Delena stole my heart and became my otp forever - but after watching their scenes in the final season of The Originals, I'm really disappointed Klaus and Caroline didn't end up together. Caroline deserves an eternity of happiness!

I still can't get over the fact that Forwood is no longer a thing. I do get that Tyler left Caroline for his stupid revenge, but he came back. It took a big ass whoop for him to do it, but he learned his lesson and came back. I think it could have worked if Caroline hadn't slept with Klaus because I feel like once she did that, her feelings for Klaus were liberated in a way. As much as it breaks my heart to see Tyler and Caroline apart, I am curious to see what happens between her and Klaus

diana it really pisses me off that Tyler just let go of Caroline, like this girl was the love of his life, the one that put him above everything and was there for him despite his bs. I understand him choosing revenge since it was his mom and a lot of people that depended on him. But once he came back for good and decided to live the live that Caroline fought for, he was like as if he never had a deep relationship w/ her. I get him being pissed off at Caroline for sleeping w/ Klaus, but he acted like their relationship never happened. She forgave him for turning her in and getting her tortured by his uncle’s pack, but why couldn’t they at least struggle w/ their break up or something. There was no pain, no lingering feelings, and he then easily falls in love w/ someone else? They ruined this pair for me

One thing that has always annoyed me is that people honestly think Klaus was the "better man" in this whole situation for being able to put aside his want for revenge on Tyler for Caroline. So yes, okay, Klaus was able to put aside his revenge for Caroline while Tyler was not, but his want for "revenge" was for petty reasons in the first place. He took out his anger on losing his minions (whom he didn't even care about in the first place) on an 18-year-old boy, one he had already put through hell and driven away before. I don't know why Klaus didn't expect Tyler to turn his hybrids against him after having experienced life under him. It wasn't big of him in the first place to give Tyler's freedom as a gift to Caroline. On the other hand, Tyler was bitter and angry about the fact that Klaus killed his mother, the only family he had left. That carries a lot more baggage than just losing some play toys. In the end, Caroline was asking a lot more of Tyler than Klaus. She was asking Klaus to put aside his petty rivalry and spare one measly life out of thousands he has taken in his time as a vampire. Yet she was asking Tyler to let the man who had ruined his life, threatened his relationship and harmed his girlfriend, as well as killed his mother and pack, to get all buddy- buddy with her. It was a little selfish of Caroline. I'm not saying Tyler couldn't have done it. And I'm not saying Caroline was intentionally selfish or insensitive to Tyler. I'm also not making a statement about Forwood or Klaroline or invalidating either ship. I think both are cute and have their moments. I just think Tyler really deserved better from both the writers and the fans, many who have little sympathy for his character despite him constantly getting screwed over. I know he could have been the bigger man for Caroline, but people still love to just imagine that Klaus and Tyler's situations for revenge were equal when they clearly were not.

Okay but Klaus is 1,000+ and at this point Mikael had instilled in him that mercy is for the weak and he only reserved that for his family. him show mercy for her benefit was a big development for his character. Tyler - though he hasHaving every right to hate Klaus - seems to forget that they are all part of Klaus' sired line. When he walks away from Caroline he does so knowing that if Klaus dies they all do as well, not to mention, that at this point they have nothing that could kill him permanently. Tyler was not going to achieve his revenge. He should have realized that and moved on with Caroline.

Yes but in the end he couldn't put his revenge aside for her. "Love me more than you hate him!" - "I'm sorry Care, I can't do that." That's how they broke up in the end. In comparison to that Klaus finally let go. After putting Caroline through a lot of pain for this personal agenda (3x11 and 4x13) he let's go of all of that in 4x23 and let's Tyler come back. He does that for Caroline. I'm not trying to show "Who is better for Caroline" with this video. I simply love how the tables turned in the end.
