My hope is just that the spin-off will not ruin his character with bad plot or shallow feelings

I love the fact that even if a video is only about Klaus, one still needs to put Klaroline in it. Caroline is a HUGE part of Klaus' life, she IS his heart. To him, Caroline IS love. Because she is the only love he has ever felt in over 1000+ years. In his eyes, she is the living embodiment of love and light and everything he could ever want.
