Bandwagon? I’m a dubs fan first and foremost. I’ve always like Dallas since nowitski era, but now that my favorite player is on the Mavs, I’m also a Mavs fan. Don’t get me wrong, still rooting for dubs but if we can’t get far, I’m def rooting for the Mavs

The Mavs are better than last year. last year they managed to go to the finals with 2 of their starters not even there for the 1st half of the season and with Luka and Ky missing about 20 games. Now they have their core with a proper training camp.

I wish more players would retire after catastrophic injuries, like Patrick Willis from the 49ers. I give it 3 games into the season before Klay is moping around the court, taking terrible shots and getting burned on defense. I really wanted him to sign with the Lakers so he could eat up their payroll!

@@tyrindenzel I don't know about that... the Warriors gave him the big loyalty contract in 2019, AFTER the first of his major injuries. They (over)paid Poole in 2022, after the championship. The problem is that Klay expected ANOTHER boatload of money, and he wouldn't settle for less, regardless of his production on the court. The Warriors could have never afforded to pay him that much this year and had no reason to do it. They already gave him the big money and he should have just accepted he's not the same player and he's not worth that money anymore. His ego drove him out of GSW.
