No knock on klay, but after his injury he lost a few steps on D and also lost his shot from game to game. Mavs played well in the playoffs because of their D, which makes klay more of a liability than an asset. Klay has great basketball iq, but he can't really defend or score well against these D2 guys.

But I can say Every time he always rep Christ .beginning every meeting playing basket with a prayer. The key word he said fellowship. I respect that.my dad did the same thing. My dad was the coach for arc bridges formerly called LCAR. He would help the mentally ill people. He would open up the gym once in a while after church for a small group of us from church to hoop he would always start off every thing with a prayer and may share a quick word God had given him. Klay I’m so sad the Warriors let you go and I completely understand why you felt disrespected. I don’t think there’s a single ring they win without you Remember they almost fumbled Steph and really got lucky with Dray (not discounting his ability and hard work) Anyone who actually watched full warriors games (which most ‘analysts’ and casuals didn’t) knows how essential you were to those runs. It’s the fact you had the best shooting back court of all time along with 3 elite defenders (you dray iggy) That aside, 4 time champ, all time shooter, you’ve raised the bar for shooting excellence and like Reggie and Ray we can’t speak on the history of shooting without mentioning you. Also to come back from two potentially career ending injuries and still shoot 40% from 3 and 38% in the playoffs, Klay you are an example of basketball excellence. We proud of you king. I like the passing. He wasn't getting as many shots as I'd like to see (just for the sake of watching), but his passing was on point. It would be awesome if the Mavs went 3 deep on great passers in the starting lineup (and when Lively eventually is too good to bring off the bench, he might make 4). I like Luka's game but I'd like to see the tempo pushed sometimes too. Keep the defense on their toes and get some easy baskets in transition. The more passers, the more that works.
