I see it as Klaypex's take on a club banger, with a dirty name like Oil Spill, the rousing " ", and as something that can be thrown out in a club by the artist and still fit in. As nice as Lights is, I can't see it hammering out of a rave's speakers. Sunrise, on Let's Go, is another really solid tune by these guys.

*Pardon the terrible comparison*... but some parts of this song have that Martin Garrix feel lol -the very beginning sounds like Animals. -from 1:38, Wizards/Proxy build up I'm no huge expert on House music, but this is all that comes to mind when I listen to this. And I fucking love it :p

Not... bad. Still better than a lot I've heard that's more similar to this type of music, but it's still far below the Klaypex standard :/ . There seems to have been a transition from music that's enjoyable just to listen to with some headphones on vs music that you would hear in a club but would never listen to by yourself.

Wasn't expecting hardstyle/house but it's good! Although the drop lacks melody is got decent bass and experimenting is good for expanding your audience, I'll admit I try to do different styles but it always sound like house or hardstyle

Stop hating on Klaypex's new songs guys. Just because they're trying new styles and musical elements doesn't mean these songs are terrible. And seriously, why are Klaypex's fans so negative? You guys hate on Skrillex (who for the record I don't like much either) all the time and even hate on any Klaypex song or remix of a Klaypex song that doesn't fit your expectations. Appreciate things for what they are, and if you don't like to listen to them, don't. I for one think the buildups in this song are awesome, although the drops largely lack melody because after all, this is hardstyle. And by no means do the drops sound bad, they just aren't as melodic or varied as most Klaypex songs. If by any chance Klaypex is reading this, my advice to you would be to stop trying so hard to fit your songs to the pattern of genres. It's great that your trying new things, but I think it would be better if instead of trying to fit songs into genres you aimed to expand the bounds of genres. For instance, rather than making a typical Hardstyle song make a melodic Hardstyle song. ;)

Okay this is different, but it's actually got some pretty awesome bits to it! I've been listening to Klaypex since their music was used in Corridor Digitals 'Dubstep Guns' video and I have loved them ever since, hell I once emailed Johnny asking to use their music in one of my videos and they were totally cool with that! I have always liked the fact that they make completely unique and awesome music so I guess I was just surprised to hear this song come out like this. However I have no doubt they will listen to everyones criticisms and continue making awesome music!

You guys need to calm down. Klaypex can do whatever the hell they want. Maybe this song wasn't as good as their old stuff, but saying that they "followed the crowd" is dumb. They can make their music sound like whatever they want, and I for one, am glad they have a different sound. Yes, their old music was good, but, as I'm sure most of you know, bands change sound as they progress. Whether or not that is good is completely the fans' perspective. Klaypex -- keep doing what you're doing. I enjoy the change in style, and always will gladly welcome your music to my ears.
