@Superstarseven Ya I see where you are coming from. I wouldn't normally put Eternal Sunshine in the chick flick category but it was ranked number 1 on a lot of top chick flick lists, plus its a great movie so I wanted to include it, regardless of the title. I do agree that 500 Days of Summer would apply but unfortunately I didn't have a good copy to include clips. These are just my personal favourites. Thanks for watching!

I don't know if I'd even consider a lot of these chick flicks. Especially, for example, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Or maybe I just really like chick flicks lol

@Czarewich No, I agree also. I wouldn't consider Eternal Sunshine a "chick flick" either. If it is then 500 Days Of Summer should have been included also.

@fukmeh626 That's why I said "mostly." In chick flicks the woman is always the main character, and the focus of most of the action.

To me, a chick flick must be one of these two types. 1: The movie hinges on a romantic storyline, mostly focusing on the woman's perspective. 2: A story of female friendship or bonding, usually a coming-of-age story. Mean Girls, Juno and Easy A are high school comedies, they're not chick flicky at all. And Eternal Sunshine is a mindfuck with a romance within it.
