Just picked up that same socket set today from Lowes. Seems like a nice set. Needed to get a smaller set cause my old set in a mixed bag of chrome sockets. Too hard to find what I need. As an electrician this set has the common sizes for daily use. I like it. Compact. Solid case. Unfortunately the impact adaptor bit is missing the retainer spring. Gonna swap out the kit tomorrow. Really wanted the 3/8 driver set. Searching everywhere. For some reason it looks to be discontinued already.

Two of my local Lowe’s have them in stock. Tried to buy one tonight and the register popped up with a message that it had been recalled and they wouldn’t sell it. No idea what the story is there.

@@ReliableHVACR That’s kinda off putting, I’ll try to dig up more on that. Maybe it’s a patent thing but I’ve also noticed the ring that locks the sockets has been getting looser over the last few weeks. It’s only happened to the wrench, the 11 in 1 is still as solid as day one.

Only thing I don’t like about Lowes is the parking lot I always go to Home Depot because of Lowe’s parking lot . Ehhh it is what it is haha

What's wrong with the parking lot? I luv parking far. I enjoy being away from the herd. People will literally spend 20 minutes doing circles just to find a "close" parking space. That time they can already be in the store shopping.
