If you watch say yes to the dress- there's always an option to put a liner in behind where so much skin is showing. This is the couture showing - which means the artist is going to push all boundaries and limits. You'll see kind of the same thing in other shows - where there might be a few things that seem so over the top - they'd never be worn - but on SYTTD - they'll do a little alteration and it's gorgeously calmed down.

Pnina isn't for everyone she's stated time and time again that her dresses are for the sexy bride... If that's not you shut up. The youngest generation of brides don't have hang up on body goals and nudity so showing skin isn't a problem. I loved majority (not all) of her gowns from 2009

When I first saw Pnina Tornai's designs I thought she was a one hit wonder with those see-through, underwear/corset bridal gowns which IMO in 20 years will be as dated as the 1980's puffy sleeves and headband veils. However, I like some of her other, newer designs. They have an Erté quality that I like. Of course as some ladies mentioned only a size 0, A cup could wear them as is, but still, pretty to look at.

Jenna J I agree wholeheartedly! Everyone's seems to have the same mermaid style gowns and what is wrong with the models?! And you 100% right not every girl wants to walk down the altar with a barely there gown on such a special occasion. I would opt for a more classical elegant dress.

Yes, I felt the same way as Jemma but I know from seeing Say Yes To the Dress, there are other styles to choose from so don't lose hope Jemma. She does design dresses that are a little more modest but can still knock you socks off. :)

Unfortunately Pnina has gotten on the "nude" bandwagon. Most of these are just too revealing and would have to be lined in order to wear but I'm sure that a lot of Brides would wear them as designed. Overall a beautiful Collection from Pnina as expected just a little too revealing for me.

I would wear them just as they are. These dresses weren't made for modesty. They were made for women that feel comfortable showing their skin. They won't have to be covered at all unless that is your personal request.

0:36 there seems to be an issue with fit in the back but the #sparkle is incredible. There were some struggly walks bless their hearts. (Maybe the shoes/stage was slippery) 2:06 Random bow. 3:09 adorable. Great way to show off a great pair of shoes. 4:31 Great to see a more traditional look. Imagine this with a veil! 4:52 Random bow. Audience seems bored. But they may have been to 50 shows that day Overall, most of these dresses would make for amazing lingerie. She should do a line if she hasn't already.

Seems these dresses are more for midrange brides (35-55) who either have been married before or who lived a good portion of their lives already, and now want to look very sexy rather than romantic or pristine. They’re for when parents and relatives are no longer an issue. Because the dresses are so revealing, they make the bride appear as more of an object than a person, which may be what some people want. It would not be my choice but they are beautiful pieces and looked fab on the models.

Spectacular dresses, but who would wear something like this for their wedding? I mean, I'm no prude...but that's way too much naked skin and glitz. Not to mention the fact, that you actually have to have a near perfect body for most of them. And there could have been a little more variety, a lot of them looked very similar. Even though i think pennia is a fabulous designer, i think she designs for the rich and twig thin. My family is Pentecostal/baptist, and none of these dresses would be appropriate in our churches. Plus you have to be stick thin to pull them off. I'm sure she would alter them to fit our bodies and be more modest for a church wedding
