Bear-inoid - I like it. My brother-in-law and I were hiking in Montana a few years and we started getting into some berry bush and grassy area. I told my bro-in law, we should really start making some noise so we don't startle a bear up here. I kid you not, the first time I clapped my hands, a grouse flushed not three feet from us and went whizzing on by us. We both just about had a heart attack. Those things are loud as hell and you think a much bigger animal is about to do bad things to you.
@bobspizza7444
@bobspizza7444 3 жыл бұрын
I truly believe grouse are the biggest killers of old hunters in the woods. Whenever they find a hunter who died of a heart attack they say he must have saw that record animal. Nope I'm guessing it was a grouse scared the life out of him. Those things are evil. Can be creeping along in stealth mode for hours not making a sound and one will wait till your 5 feet away and bust out.

Thanks for sharing man. Looked like it was a pretty well tracked area for out in the woods especially considering from what I could tell there wasn't a deep swimming hole or anything. It makes me cringe seeing all of that trash out there. A button falling off or a coin falling out of your pocket when you sit at the base of a tree which you wouldn't even notice but leaving beer cans and pull tabs intentionally is messed up. If the people who visited the area enjoyed it, perhaps it would be nice to let others enjoy it the same way they did without their garbage laying around.

It looks exactly like the permafrost we get up here in Fairbanks. Can definitely make things difficult. In Alaska, when you hit permafrost it's time to go to a new spot for gold unless you have some kind of large equipment. I once knew a guy with a gold claim who would blast out the permafrost into large blocks during winter w/ Dynamite and remove the blocks. In summer they would have paydirt exposed and it would limit the soupy mess of thawed permafrost.

Very cool video, if you have a area you call silver stream you could call this one copper creek, since you found all those copper pennies, just a suggestion:) My two Sons & I name areas all the time, we always name them after things we find but mostly after things we see, such as, Beaver Slide Run, Lightning Strike, Wolf Tail Valley, Rusty Axe, The Bonsai Tree, it’s just for us but we always know where we’re talking about, Anyway great video, love & enjoy your channel, you always have something different and educational!!

And the button is a simple 4 hole metal shirt button. Anytime i hv seen those style, they are put on items to state the item was made in USA. Its just a style of a 4 hole button tho its pressed in the middle for easier sewing. First thing i recalled with that style was flannel, warm style shirts. Where are you? Where ppl where those alot.

You can’t be too hard on Budweiser. From the dates of those cans that was pretty much the best beer available back then, except for Coors though. I remember when I was a kid and Coors wasn’t legal to sell outside Colorado and Idaho because they didn’t heat pasteurize their beer. I remember my parents and their friends would share some Coors when someone brought some back and it was a special thing to them. This was early 80’s Portland, Oregon
@Klesh
@Klesh Жыл бұрын
You bring up some interesting points about the history of Budweiser and Coors. It's true that during the early 80's in Portland, Oregon, Budweiser and Coors were some of the most popular beers available, and Coors was considered a special treat due to its limited availability. However, it's also important to note that during the prohibition era in the US, many traditional German beer recipes were lost and it was a difficult time for the brewing industry. As a result, many breweries, including Budweiser, had to adapt and change their recipe in order to survive. This may have led to a watering down of the traditional flavors and styles that were once popular. Today, there are many other options for beer enthusiasts to choose from, and brewing techniques have evolved, making it possible to find a variety of styles and flavors.

I never go in wilderness by myself with out sidearm though. You can shoot a round to scare them worst case. I would never kill unless it was my life or theirs. I watched a video of guys detecting at beach under water in Hawaii and they found cool shit. Do you detect for nuggets? I suppose that is the dream find.

Yeah I have a Minelab Equinox 800 that has two gold prospecting modes. I use it when I'm in the jungles or deserts. Here in Colorado the gold is too small for the detector to pick up.
