I've been learning from your channel for the past 2 months and I'm loving it. Started to learn ASL because of the Marvel movie Eternals which features a deaf superhero, Makkari, played by Lauren Ridloff. Also, Alaqua Cox who is also deaf plays another Marvel character in the show Hawkeye

I have a question! What’s the difference between the letter “W” in sign language and the number 6? Is the back of your hand and the palm of your hand facing a different way when you’re signing the letter W and the number 6?

@@autumnn7620 when signing F your thumb and pointer finger make a circle, when signing 9 it’s more of a point

To sign the letter W, make your thumb touch close to the knuckle of your pinky and make your palm face outward. To sign the number 6, make the pad of your thumb touch the pad of your pinky. If you are counting, then face your palm inward.

Hello Meredith, I hope you are well. You signed OUR HOUSE BUILD SINCE 322 DAYS. We sign the time first in ASL, so please clarify why the time is at the end in your example. I would have put 322 DAYS SINCE OUR HOUSE BUILD, but then does that mean the house was built 322 days ago?

Hello! I’m very interested in learning sign language. But I do have a quick verification question. What is the difference between number two in sign language and letter V ? How will people know the difference?

Generally, when signing 'two', your thumb is facing towards yourself but when signing 'V', your thumb is facing away from you towards the person you're signing to but the context of the conversation also makes it clearer.
