Just got aonic 5. It sounds great with details and wide sound stage. Guess I will stick with it for a long time

Thank you for a clear explanation of these Aonic earphones! My only problem is that I need them to be Bluetooth adaptable. You mentioned there are Bluetooth adaptable. I listen to bass orientated music but I also like the midrange of Jazz and vocals in soul music. Would the Aonic 4 be the best choice with a separately purchased Bluetooth cable which will not reduce the sound quality? This was the only thing you did not mention. ( if quality of sound is different as regards Bluetooth cable or with the regular 3,5 jack cable ) Many thanks.

How do the Aonic 4 and 5 compare to the SE425 and SE535? The SE line has come down in price, so is paying more for Aonics worth it?

exactly my question. Aonic 4 and SE 535 have similar prices now. So I am curious as to which one to pick.

so i could listen to both right after each other so here my thoughts: the aonic 4 are more base heavy than the 535, they got more of an easy going hifi listening experience. They are definitley have great separation of different sounds but not as good as the 535. The 535 feel more like a very sophisticated analytic IEM and the aonic 4 more like a easy going really good consumer in ear :)

@@simonkuecher Thanks for this really important comparison 🙏🏻. I think I will go with 535 because I want to hear just about everything in my music and enjoy all the secrets in the recording. Also, Female vocals, chorus/background vocals is really important for me, which do u think does this better.

Aonic 4 has a sibilance issue all over the place . Only using the white plugs that it comes with will indeed totally solve the problem yet will sacrifice some bass which from the beggining is not abundant . This issue is a big cons of the aonic 4 and should be addressed by shure !!! The Aonic 215 does not have that issue at all and to me the Aonic 215 is a much better price to value proposition and even in absalut values the Aeon 215 is more fun then the Aeon 4 since it has more bass ( and a food bass with sub bass presence) , warmer sound , more airy and fatter vocals / mid range. I think the Aeon 215 is the best buy here. I think anyone that will put on his / her ears the Aonic 215 for the first time will say " WOOOOOOOW" and have a huge smile on his face 😊😊😊 No other company is even close to the the Aonic 215 at its price !!!

Aonic 3 reminds me of my E3Cs I owned 15 years ago

Same here! I'm still using E3C's today. Just recently (after 14 years of use) the cable is going out. I'm 100% going to get another pair or Shure's, just can't decide which ones. But the looks of the Aonic 3 is winning me over for the resemblance to my current E3C's

@@klgadgettv you are doing a critical listening with the product and talking about detail.. while using spotify... You are showing spotify in the vid while listening without mentioning the test methodology? how tf am i suppose to know? how tf do i know whether or not your KEFs are in good hands?

We unfortunately don’t have professional equipment to test out frequencies and as such, the test depends on our hearing and experience with earphones. For your info, while Spotify remains one of our tests, we did try out FLACs and DSD audio on a Sony NW-A100 DAP with a Creative Super X-Fi amplifier and TOPPING DX3 Pro amp, which is the reason why we are able to talk about the sound characteristics of each of these earbuds.

@@fehmiugurunal You are spot on here. They should be a varied amount of sound tests across a span of sound sources. The problem with all these types of reviewers is they base it on their 'own' preferences instead of measuring the accuracy of frequencies at various levels on each song per sound source. So a Spotify track with the same song played on a Hi-res track on Deezer or Tidal would sound obviously differently. The other thing to consider is if using wired direct or USB C converter as that will have a huge effect on measuring and producing sound replication. As for testing their are tons of free software with small upgrade costs. Or just plug into a amp with an EQ or meter reader and observe the readings at different points along each track. This review is basically lazy reviewing and no disrespect but not by professional qualified sound engineers for sure!

I just bought the aonic 3s. I gotta say for almost 300 dollars i was expecting a life changing experience listening to music. But honestly they sound worse than my 20 dollar in ears. Huge disappointment 😪
@pleego20

Its always due to preference. It could also be cause you are too used to your cheap esrphones that such a jump makes it hard to get used to for few days.

@@pleego20 So I've compared them to a few different cheaper headphones now and the aonics blow all of them out of the water for sure. But my $20 JBL in ears must be special cuz they still sound better than them haha. A lot more clarity and more well rounded low end. That being said I've started using the aonics for stage monitoring with my band, and they're amazing for that purpose. They bring out the vocals really well and have actually improved my singing a ton from using them. So definitely a good investment for that. I'm curious to hear what the higher models sound like now. But justifying the price is a difficult one lol.

@@mattstanyer Id definitely would recommend you to check out the 4s and 5s!! Being able to change nozzles is pretty interesting. But hard to justify when already owning aonic 3s. I agree though, some cheap earphones you always come back to cause to for some mysterious reasons :)
@mattstanyer

@Christopher Huber naw bro. Like I said I've tried them against a few different cheaper headphones and the aonics are far superior. But my one pair of earphones are way better than them for whatever reason. But I still make a lot of use of the aonics for stage monitoring. Thats where they really shine in my opinion. They block out a ton of noise and are saving my ears. Plus that boosted mid range is great for hearing your vocals

It happens and is a reality but this situation has a simple explanation... If you use low quality files and a cellphone or a cheap AMP/DAC.. Yes your $20's will always sound better.. cheap headphones can not Hide or forgive those imperfections while fine headphones will allow you to hear them.. And cheap headphones are going to sound same with Good or bad quality files and equipment, while with Fine headphone will let you hear the difference.. my recommendation, if you invest in a good headphones, change your source too..
