I love that the beast characters (except Koyanskaya) are on the easier spectrum of getting to bond 5. It's a nice touch, since one of the conditions to become a beast is to "love" humanity.

The Koyanskayas' Valentines scenes reflects pretty well the differences in how they regard Ritsuka. Dark: Works you to the bone like the animal she sees you as, but ultimately still shows some appreciation for even her least favorite species on the planet. Light: Traps you in a devastating loop of gambling debt you are forced to uselessly struggle your way out of, probably forever, for what is obviously just her own amusement. Yeah, imagine my surprise when Dark was actually the *nicer* of the two.

I might be biased, but I feel like there's a few more layers to Light's Valentine's Scene than I feel most folks give her credit for. Consider the fact that, though we find ourselves in her dungeon and have to fight our way out to earn our freedom and clear our debt, she still ends up stacking the deck _heavily_ in our favor with the "Starting Equipment" she gives us; her Valentine's CE. As a reminder, it is a _functional handgun made of pink chocolate_ that can fire enchanted bullets capable of charming foes on contact, which in terms of game mechanics, is one of many nasty stun debuffs if successfully triggered. Now, not only does she downplay her own efforts in producing it, she made the conscious choice to _NOT_ make more of these, despite the Master noting that there is incredible potential for profit if she mass-produced them... but again, this is a _one of a kind item_ not found in any of her weapon catalogues. Make of that what you will.

@@OhItsThatOneGuy To further expand on this: The bond lines actually sort of make it somewhat clear where the divide lay: Koyan of Dark's bond 5 is a deep and absolute trust, the likes of which a God would have for their most favored and favorite worshiper, their high priest or the like, or the company CEO to that one secretary of theirs who has access to all their accounts and passwords and who has the seal with the signature and the electronic signature on their computer. To her you are an absolutely irreplaceable existence not because she loves or even because she likes you (though she does like Guda), but rather because she trusts you absolutely to not betray or disappoint her. Koyan of Light, on the other hand... subtly implies that she's head over heels in love with the player character. In her first two forms, she comes up with an excuse to stick to them for all time, saying that it's totally because Guda is her favorite chewtoy who suffers the most and goes through the cycle of happiness and suffering most frequently. Her third form, however, is more or less explicit about how Guda is her favorite existence and refuses to ever let them go. Though she doesn't know how to express it on account of being totally unfamiliar with her own emotions, she is pretty much just short of confirmed to be in love with the PC. She is... actually a proper and true tsundere. She might call you her favorite chewtoy, and she might insist she loves watching you be sad, but the moment someone who isn't her causes you to suffer, she will immediately begin plotting their downfall, while claiming that she just wanted to ruin someone else's moment of victory out of compulsion, or claim that her fury came about because someone else played with her favorite toy and totally not because someone made you suffer. She's not as terrible as she likes to pretend she is. Still evil, just, evil pointed at everyone except the object of her affections. Because as much as she hates to admit it, she took far more than Tamamo's shape, she has a lot of Tamamo's personality as well... fox waifu gonna fox waifu, at the end of the day. Funnily enough, despite calling herself Koyanskaya of Darkness, the dark one has a lot more Amaterasu influence in her seemingly.

Oberon has a very peculiar bonding to him. At first glance, you see he may be no different from most Servants. But you don't truly get to know him until you reach Bond 6 and cleared LB6 where his biography as Oberon Vortigern appears. The way I see it, it's very in-character for the first Pretender.

Interestingly, Meltryllis who is canonically in love with the gudas has a very interesting curve. Her first three bonds require 5000, 15000, 10000 which is a pretty common curve. She is now in Chaldea and is spending time with us. With her not being able to feel properly she will have difficulties but we are there for her an will never judge her for that. And that's all she needs cuz immediately after, bond 4 only requires 2000 pts. So she's just head over heals for us at this point. But the last pioint lvl 5 requires a sudden jump of 18000. This shows while she is in love with us, she is still unsure to open up to us about her feelings and vulnerabilities. And after opening her heart(secret garden) to us we definitely made a strong bond together. Her summer form is also very interesting. As a high status celeb, she's willing to give her love to her loyal fans with bond 1 taking 6000pts.. But crossing that line from fan to a personal relationship requires a lot of struggle as bond 2 requires 24000 pts. Even after coming close her status and fame might become a wall between us, requiring a solid 15000 pts. But once she realises we're here not for her fame but for her and who she is, Melt can ease up to her as her pillar of comfort and relief in her celeb life as her trust in us increases with bon 4 and 5 both requiring only 2500 pts each.

For Draco you also have to remember that she still loves humanity as a beast and unlike the other beast who have a sort of nostalgia or in a way selfish motives or inadvertently destroys humanity Draco has stated that she wishes to mercy kill humans since humanity would end itself making humanity the true beast

I want to add something very interesting. Okita Alter. Her bonds are much easier to raise as an Alter Ego but higher than usual in her summer form. But that is because you are getting along with Rengoku who is more wary towards the Master than anything

@@MrDibara If I remember Okitan's interlude and the profile in her summer form, Rengoku dislikes Guda for giving her the ability to feel. Things would have been much easier for herself if she stayed a killing machine. But at the same time he is thankful to the Master for it too.

Her summer version follows a similar pattern except for the end where she just says “fine” stays with the low bond requirement. Lily is totally cool with us

Saber Musashi starts with a 6000, thann all other leveles are 6125. My guess is she realizes she is warming up to the master a little too much and tries to fight it, but she is Musashi so she fails at it spectacularly. Berserk Musashi start at 2000 and end at 6000. Its problably a mix of guilty bc summer 4 is entirely her fault, already being in love at this point, and realizing she dosen't have too much time, so she wants to spend the rest having fun.

Melt and Castoria both end at 50k but are absolutely different in personality. For Melt though, I feel like she puts up a cold demeanor at first, as she dislikes humans. She also is quite prideful which doesn’t quite help trying to start bonding with her. However, as us masters get more persistent and bond with her like how the master in the previous timeline of SERAPH did, she starts to drop her outward sadistic personality and adapts her inner more masochistic personality (as described by Hans) where she struggles to see herself as something other than a weapon and understanding how her way of love hurts others. The final 18k (the largest hurdle) is how her conflict between showering all of her love into master even if it is poison or maintaining a distance by telling Master she will never like them. Castoria on the other hand is the exact opposite case - she looks easygoing but needs maximum bond for bond 5 as well. I think this stems from her trust issues (well, if we take Castoria in lb 6 into account). Castoria fits herself to be “A Child of Prophecy” but only does so to not rebel against the surroundings, and she is disillusioned about the faeries due to their mistreatment. For a cheerful girl like her, she surely hides lots of things behind her smile. I’m not sure how the curve works for her though - and it’s Artoria Avalon who is summoned too so I’m even less sure. Thank you for the video btw, I’ve been looking at these a while ago as well and found it interesting how some require hefty bond levels (Watanabe too… my favourites love making me put them into my party) despite their differences in personality. I love obtaining these bond lines so they are very appreciated.

Sunmer Castoria ends at 27K. OG Castoria was made before LB6 is finalised so maybe that explains the high number maybe idk.

@@promc2890 Yes pretty much. With Summer Castoria, the bond is already established between Master and Servant and perhaps more considering she is among those whom you are willing to go on a date with to celebrate your birthday.

My favorite bond level that I've seen so far is heracles. He isn't my favorite servant but it's just reaaaaallly funny to look at especially given the context of stay night I know it's probably because he was an original servant to the game, but it's just really funny to me that the big berserker murder machine is just a chill bro you can go have a meal with and go destroy boulders with on your off time. The bond cost in question is 2,500 > 3,750 > 5,000 > 6,250 > 10,000

Tbh I don't think Douman's bond points are that low because of manipulation. It always seemed more in line with what Abe-no-Seimei said in Heian-Kyo's epilogue about Douman's biggest flaw being his fixation on individuals, and Douman himself has drawn parallels between Guda and Seimei (his original object of fixation) more than once. His arguably clingy voice lines always seemed to back that interpretation as well. His hatred for humanity as a whole is a given, but his feelings on specific individuals are honestly far more complicated and ambiguous

Salter, Morgan, Jalter, and Kojiro. Kojiro is very easy going throughout the whole bond. It doesn't take effort. He just simply trusts us that much. Salter and Morgan are interesting because they have the same "mountain" bond. Meaning it take a bit to reach bond 2 and after that, they soften up to you real quick. With Morgan, its likely trust issues due to LB6 since she claimed you as her spouse. Salter however just sees you as competent and does enjoy your company, provided you bring junk food, like any other saberface. Her summer version is easier because she's now a maid and focuses on fulfilling that role as your maid. Jalter has weird mountain curve, not like Salter and Morgan. It takes a bit to reach bond 2, but she softens up and is bothered by the fact that you still stick with her despite everything. Her Summer version is same as Morgan and Salter, but she extremely softens up to you. She just acts tough in front of everyone else, but with you, her feelings are more out in the open.

Robin Hood does not see himself like the other servants. "It's not like me to be a Heroic Spirit, but..." he says he doesnt care about his method of winning fights yet has a tendency to feel ashamed of his way of life and his fighting style of ambush and sabotage; things that could be seen as cowardly. Bond 1, with 3,000 is him reading the room. "Here a Heroic Spirit, there a Heroic Spirit... A bit stuffy around here, yes? Don't want to get too close..." during Bond 2, he keeps himself a bit at arm's length with 12,000 while showing us how he works in battle; his way of life. but come bond 3... its just a 3000 increase. he says he's shown all his tricks. "no better time than the present to cut me loose, Master. All downhill from here." he's back to arms length again, and this time further away, at 13,000 for Bond 4. he thinks he doesnt have anything good left to show us. we get his interlude here and we learn about his tendency of shame. how he'll find a way to join a fun having group as someone who 'isn't really a friend', but not a stranger. "All downhill from here." but then... we hit bond 4. and he realizes that we're not leaving him, just because he's out of tricks. he sees we accept him for who he is... and he relents. "You might be worse at cutting your losses than me, Master." just 3,000 more for Bond 5. his bow is ours 'till the very end.

Angra Mainyu's bond jumps goes from 2500, 3750, 23750, 2000 to 18k. What I like to think is going on is the 3rd bond is him realizing you've already summoned better servants but if you're willing to move past that to bond 4 he really warms up to you. But I think that last jump goes back to his backstory since Angra himself is a byproduct of humanity disregarding any sense of morals in favor of the easiest and most practical solution. So that final test of character in bond 5 is to see whether or not the master is someone who takes the highroad in doing what they believe is right, and someone who would've spared him had they'd been in that village all those years ago.

For Julius Caesar: He likes us right off the bat, from 2.5k at bond 1 and then in units of 1.25k until bond 4. Then a hurdle, 10k until you hit bond 5. He did die while surrounded by some people he thought of as friends who knew he was above them, and in some respects, even in a Master and Servant pact, he still thinks himself as above us with such titles below himself. Only now, he's actually cautious of those...around him. We passed the test. We might not fall in line with some of his schemes, but he knows we'll never betray him or lead him away. His wife: She's extremely proud, yet humbled to see that not only was she successfully inscribed as a heroic spirit, but then to be summoned by a master likely already knowledgeable of her fame and accomplishments and she already sees that we do admire her, though that's just how common folk are, and that much really hasn't changed since her time. Then she sees that a certain someone she so greatly loved and admired, though not immediately recognizable for some reason, has also been entered into service with the same Master. Her heart soars, only requiring 3.5k for bond 1. However, upon this realization and likely due to her intellectual abilities, she might not have the highest opinion of our capabilities as a master (probably also confirmed upon finding out about our own "talent" for magic), and that summoning her beloved in this form and in this class, that there automatically must be something wrong with us for him to have him take a form that's so very contrary to how she remembers him: spike up to 8k for bond 2. For the 7k up to bond 3 and spending some time with us, him, and with the archives that chronicled the journey, she does learn that this form was likely the fault of how the summoning system works in tandem to how a master might encounter the same individual servant in a singularity would affect how they appear when summoned in Chaldea. With 6k until bond 4, she's spent more time with this version of Caesar and found that he's actually the same inside as he was in the time they previously shared, but if anything, the time he spent with us actually made him even stronger than before, so she fell in love with him again. At just 2.5k after that, she's not only accepting us, but she knows she'll be even better for it because she'll be so much more powerful that she'll never have to experience that kind of loss ever again and all she needs to do is protect us. She's just as vain as ever, but her love for us is no longer empty words and pretense.

Aside from my overworked Castoria and Waver, my Bond 10+ units include Swimsuit Jalter (14), Swimsuit Jeanne (10), FSN Medusa (10), Arash (10), and Bunyan (10). Ironically, I'm having a VERY hard time increasing my bonds with regular Jalter because her Swimsuit self is more advantageous against more enemy types than OG.

I think it's interesting that Medea Lily is part of the 50,000 club. She seems so bright and friendly, but it takes a long time for her to warm up to us. It could just be that's she's so fanatically devoted to Jason that it takes her a while to be friendly with anyone else. But I always thought it was because she is still haunted by her memories of what happened the last time she got close to someone else. That despite her friendly demeanor, she's too bitter to open up to another heroic type.

Kijyo Koyo has the same 'lots, little, lots, little' curve, likely due to not trusting us really accepting the dinosaur shape at first, then the mainly human look is easy for her to accept being liked, and then the oni form she likely again doesn't believe us liking her, but finally warms up as we accept her for what she is. And she really is the best dino mom

If you look at Dantes; new and old, it is kinda funny how his bond level 2 and 3 require a whopping 30,000 and 45,000 bond points (in total). Then by bond 4 and 5 he needs a measly 2,500 bond points for both. He basically gave up at that point and is like, yeah we accomplices for life.

Interesting case I found is Oberon He seems nice and friendly but it takes whooping 20k to get from bond 1 to 2. This is true to how he appear in LB6, he seems social and know everyone, but he’s only an acquantance at best. He doesn’t stick around long enough for people to know him better. After you get past that check point it became ez 2.5k per bond. But then it takes another 10.5k to get from bond 4 to 5, which I guess is him testing your emotional investment in him However, the actually interesting part is it’s all a lie. You need get to know Oberon at all if you stop at bond 5 like most servants. He plays a little hard get at bond 4 to not seem too trusting and rewards you with false info at bond 5 so you’ll leave him alone It takes bond 6 (150k or 3 light Koyan) and clearing LB6 for Oberon to finally reveal himself as Vortigern

I'm actually making it a personal challenge to make all the Tamamos and Koyanskayas reach bond 15 together... which is a pain when everyone has different bonds due to them appearing in different points. Dark Koyan is one more level away to reach bond 14 and then it's fluffy tail time to bond them all to 15 together

I find Atalanta Alter to be pretty interesting, she has a very low cost of level 1 at 3k, and then proceeds linearly at 6150. This is in contrast to regular Atalanta, who has a tsundere M curve, needing 12k for level 2 and 13k for level 4. If I had to guess, regular Atalanta finds it pretty easy to just perform her duty as a fighter, but has significant trust issues to overcome when it comes to Master-Servant relationships (level 2) and potential romantic involvement (level 4). That said, she still likes Ritsuka quite a bit (I mean, her Valentine's scene is basically an indirect marriage proposal). As for Alter, well, I'd explain her initial eagerness to fight with us as part protective (Guda is also a kid, after all), part animalistic (she mentions on multiple occasions that Fujimaru's scent makes her feel at ease). Afterwards, though, she comes to understand that at their core, Ritsuka is just really harmless and kinda wants everyone to get along, and she doesn't accept it. At all. She goes through all of the rest of her bond levels wanting to protect them from both fighting and herself, and she never manages to resolve that inner conflict. She's still fiercely loyal, she'll fight for Guda until the last drop of blood, but she still despises her animal nature too much to let them close the remaining distance.

Medusa Rider and S. Istar has a M curve bond which is understandable when one has her life tragicaly killed by a 'Hero' while the other is a bounty hunter/villain and can't just trust anybody willy nilly. Interestingly Ana has a linear bond curve since she's still the pure Medusa while Gorgon has a spike toward bond 2 then lower by a significant amount of 5k then by 8k before testing us with her final bond that require 18k. Medusa Saber has a more cautios at first but warmed up toward us later on with bond 5 require only 2,5k.

If you summon him after clearing LB6, you have practically summoned him right after its conclusion and he is both shocked and annoyed at this whole affair. I do not know the exact numbers for his bonding but I recall it taking forever.

It's funny how himiko's is pretty fast, only needing 10,000. Himiko: I've already seen the future, so why beat around the bush. But also, she is just an easygoing character who immediately gives you a nickname, so she doesn't really need to look into the future to see that you'll get along. Also, looking at anastasia's hers starts off 5k, 20k, 30k, 32k, but then finally with the biggest hurdle to 50k. So it takes a bit for her to open up, but when she does, she's much more easygoing, but either her guilt of attacking chaldea or her mix feeling on whether she still hates humanity or not, leads to the biggest hurdle of really opening up the guda as she probably feels that shes undeserving of their trust. But as shown with her summer version, it's more of a straightforward 20k, so she's resolved that inner turmoil but is still a tease so she probably wants you to gradually put in more effort with each bond level.

I've already posted this somewhere before. But let me cook. This is my take on my favorite servant, Billy the Kid Bonds (1 to 5) - The total bond to get to level 5 is 35,000 bond. In this video, it's called the "tsundere" curve, and is known as Type G in some circles. Billy is not a tsundere by any means, but he has a similar curve like his bro Robin, and I got inspiration from that person who analyzed Robin in the comments. But I think it's because, he knows how hard it is to truly trust people, having lived a rough yet short life. But he's not as high as others who need 50k bond points, because he did have formed bonds with people in the past after all, those who he considered his "pals". Bond Level 1 - 4,000 "Hey, nice to meet ya. From now on, I'll do my best!" - Billy is the type of guy to be approachable with his usual smile. While both of them are in good terms, he sees them as nothing more but an acquaintance or an ally who he can use (for the lack of a better term) in the future during quests, for he holds no animosity towards them, at least. Bond Level 2 - 12,000 "Ahaha! Sorry partner, were you hoping for some peace and quiet?" - The sudden jump of the required bond points, shows Billy's hesitance to become closer. He may seem friendly, but he still is wondering if he trusts the master or not. This dialogue is like he's trolling the master from his expressions and tone alone. He's still sticking to his cheerful and childish facade behind that smile to avoid causing some more trouble between them, but might start to see the master as a friend. Bond Level 3 - 3,000 "...Hm, I hear you hate it when it gets noisy so I tried to be quiet. Not this quiet, then?" - The bond requirement drop surprising lesser than the initial ones. It seems that he is starting to warm up as his expression becomes more sincere than the bond level 2 one where he sounds like he is saying it as a joke. But in this one, it sounds like he does start to care about the master, but the atmosphere is awkward for the both of them. It's a start of how Billy's act is starting to show some cracks. Bond Level 4 - 13,000 "Oh, Master, how long have ya been over there? The whole dang time? Hrm, I must be losing it..." - This dialogue seems to refer him observing the master. If the master is someone whom he can trust. The amount of the requirements spike tremendously, is him still being distrustful towards them, but how he sounds with his lines, it seems that he is worried that the master might start to see through that smile of his, and he may be contemplating whether or not to open up to them. Or something else entirely. Bond Level 5 - 3,000 "Alrighty then, let me break it to ya. I'm not some carefree legendary gunman. I like those quiet, lonesome nights. I'm a bit of an outcast. But if you'll still have me, I'll stick around." - This one hits so hard. He finally realized that he doesn't need to keep up his act, or he senses that the master probably can see through his own act. And this might mean, that the master sees him as an equal, as someone with feelings. Not as an outlaw who will kill mercilessly with a smile, nor as a legend that he has to live up to. Not as a servant the master uses for the holy grail, but as partners with undeniable camaraderie. He may see himself as an outcast, but if he master would still want to have him around, he'd stick around and fight for them till the very end. Funny how he isn't even that popular, and I feel like the creators forgot he exists now that Lostbelt 1 is done, and yet here I am... Somehow feeling like I don't think I did him justice with this one.

If I'm reading the charts right, every version of Gilgamesh has the same bond requirements. Going from 1 to 2, he's probably trying to see if you're worth his time. From 2 to 4, his bond requirements lessen, indicating that he's starting to warm up to you. Finally, bond 5 has the highest requirement of all, so if you want to see the King of Heroes at his best, you're going to have to work for it, mongrel.

This was a really interesting video, so I decided to see the bond levels of my 3 favorite Male servants and 3 favorite Female servants and comparing it to some of the servants in the video I got this and : Males: 1. Percival shares the same curve as Kirei. 2. Mandricardo's curve is really interesting in the sense that his total bond 5 is 50,000 starting at bond 1 is 5,000, bond 2 is 20,000, bond, Bond 3 is 30,000, Bond 4 is 32,200 and lastly bond 5 is 50000. He falls into the servants with trust issues catagory with Van Gogh. 3. Saito shares the same curve with Base Raikou and Koyan Dark and assume it has because of Raikou's bond reasoning. Females 1. Ereshkigal's curve goes to 37,500 at bond 5. Starting at Bond 1 5000, Bond 2 being 20,000, bond 3 being 30,000, bond 4 being 31,500 and lastly bond 5 37,500. 2. Castoria shares the same bond curve with Mandricardo and Van Gogh. 3. Sei's curve goes to 27,500 at bond 5. Starting at 1,000 for Bond 1, 2,500 for bond 2, 4,500 for bond 3, 10,500 for bond 4 and then 27,500 as I said earlier. Thanks for this video, It was interesting to look into bond curves.

There's been jokes for years both out and sometimes referenced in game about how Kama basically has a conceptual weakness to Guda because of the events of Ooku. She's like, super duper weak to straight and honest affection and love. And, well, Guda's a master of doing that.

The Phantom of the Opera has a funny bond curve: 5,000, to 15,000, to 10,000, to 2,000, to 18,000. Distant at first, slowly lowers his guard (or ours), then hikes back up tremendously. I feel like this definitely reads as someone who really wants to trust Gudako, but for either his love of Christine or self-doubt about himself, feels like he can't. Or I guess the opposite could be true as well.

Might as well throw in a possible explanation for my personal favorite Servant, Kingprotea. Kingprotea's bond 1~5 curve features an EXTREMELY noticeable jump at Bond 2 - in fact, Bond 2 is already more than halfway to Bond 5! If I had to guess, this is probably because Kingprotea (as stated in her bio) doesn't like being outside her comfort zone. This most likely means that Bond 1 is you becoming acquaintances, while Bond 2 represents Protea actually knowing you well enough to feel _comfortable_ around you. From there, her Bond rapidly accelerates, as her feeling _safe_ around Master means she becomes more and more eager to become closer to you. An alternative explanation is that she's holding her desires back for your safety, until you can prove to her that you're capable of handling this very unusual (and dangerous) Servant. Kingprotea's bio also ends with a lengthy discussion about how in order to _survive_ being contracted with Protea, her Master will need to teach her that love is not meant to be one-sided, but rather a mutual back-and-forth. So perhaps her Bond curve suddenly taking off after the long climb to Bond 2 signifies her Master teaching her this, and Protea's willingness to learn from them. Come to think of it, that actually lines up with _Bond 2 specifically_ being the hurdle before the pace quickens. After all, another way to phrase that lesson is "love is a 2-way street!" Also, Kingprotea's total Bond at Bond 5 is 31,150, which is... somehow even more specific than Melusine.

The Valkyries have an interesting one, being an initial hurdle that tapers off before shooting back up again. Which might be them initially hesitant to bond with the Master, before gradually warming up to them, then finally that last hurdle is them realizing that they are falling in love and attempting (unsuccessfully) to keep the Master at arm's length.

Looking at this, I couldn't help but check out the Bond curve for my favorite Servant (next to Mash of course), Mordred. She takes 3,500 to get to Bond 1 then another 8,500 to get to Bond 2. Considering her past, I can see why she's hesitant to really open up to people. However, once that initial peak is reached, she starts to trust us a bit more and so requires another 7,000 for Bond 3, 6,000 for Bond 4, and at this point I feel like she's finally comfortable enough and likes us enough that she only needs 2,500 more to reach Bond 5. At that point, we've won over our tomboy knight. It is kind of interesting to think of Bond Levels this way, I'll admit. The really funny one is her Rider version. Whereas her Saber version needs a grand total of 27,500 to get to Bond 5, her Rider version only needs 15,000. By this point, like you say, I figure Mordred and I have known each other for a while. The interesting thing with her Rider version though is that while she initially needs 1,500 to get to Bond 1, the amount needed for each successive level goes up by 750 points, so she needs 2,250 for Bond 2, 3,000 for Bond 3, 3,750 for Bond 4, and 4,500 for Bond 5. I wonder what that means in her case.

It is as you say, summer servants usually have lower bond requirements because you already got to know them in the OG saint graphs. Plus in her summer form, she seems to embrace her more feminine side but still hesitant to fully commit.

When I looked into the 3 servants I'd say I like the most of Ecchan, Magoichi and Morgan two of them are certainly easier to get along with. Magoichi well uh gives you a marriage certificate or whatever so it makes sense it only needs max of 10,000 Ecchan has a very straight forward curve which makes some sense but needs double Magoichi needs maxing at 20,000. Considering how she acts it makes sense it isn't hard to level her bond. Then there's Morgan with a cap of 40,000, 1 to 2 is a massive jump which does make sense with 2 to 4 not needing that much and then another large jump from 4 to 5. Considering her character it makes perfect sense since at first she's testing you and at the end she wants to test you again.

Nearly 9 years playing this game, 35 bond 10 servants; among them 9 that are beyond and only Castoria and Swimsuit Musashi being bond 15 among them. Never, and I mean NEVER did I ever consider bond curves when bonding with them. I simply just bonded and that's it. Don't know if that means I love my servants regardless of how long or tiring it is to bond with them... or that I rarely pay attention to the game lol

And then there's Caenis. Omg Caenis is SO HARD to max bond in general. Super understandable doe, as he was r*ped and has to carry the blessing of his abuser if he wants to have the power to not suffer anything like this before. I really love how Caenis is weird and conflicted towards sexuality, physical touch, gender and feelings in general, and how he warms up to the master but all the trauma is still there and is something to navigate. In between all of this, he shows to be the most loyal person in the room if you're able to get in through her armor, and will even control her literal "Madness Enhance EX" to not cause too much trouble to his new bond. On another note, I see summer Caenis as the version of himself that has accepted his defeat and have come to terms a bit with his trauma. He's more affectionate to others, letting his emotions as a tsundere to show more, trying to take care of everyone and get along with some servants, and has definitely an easier time to communicate with the master. He still hates everything that hurt him, but it's not as haunted as before. Best proof is valentines scenes. I can't recommend them enough so please everyone do watch them ☺️

wait, one second, Avicebron hates us? more seriously, isn't it mentioned that Koyan-Light's Affection isn't this calculating according to her bond profiles? besides being a paying customer, Koyan-Light's also sees us as a plaything: she wants to help us superficially while losing sight of the important stuff, and once we hit rock bottom, she will help us back up for the sole reason of getting a chance to see that fall from grace again. and past that, her very last bond profile mentions that she, by the end of it all, still based her existence on Tamamo-no-Mae (THE Wife Servant), and so still has the inclination to serve like Tam does. which feels more interesting than "oh she's just fleecing you"

When I was pulling for Summer Ibuki, I had a total of 1600SQ saved. I needed base 2 of them but I really wanted 3 of them, Ibuki is my favorite character and I wanna 120 her like I’m almost done doing with her saber. Well I spent all 1600 sq and 20 of my tickets and has only gotten 1 Summer Ibuki. I was honestly going to quit the game. It was such a devastating feeling. So I go to delete the game and then I get this feeling like ‘well you got a few tickets left and some Sq fragments. Might as well blow them.’ So SQ fragments let me get 2 more multi 10 pulls, and I had 20 tickets left so 40 pulls all together. I get -2- Ibuki summers in that time. -2-! I couldn’t believe it. From literally moments from deleting the game to being ecstatic! And then suddenly it dawned on me -THIS- THIS IS EXACTLY KOYANSKYA’S DOING this is exactly what she lives for. The rise when I got my first Ibuki with only 200sq spent, then the slow terrible painfully fall into completely despair as an another 1400 sq fall into nothingness, and at that last possible moment when despair had all but fully snatched my heart and soul, a hand pulled me back. Like damn. I suppose that’s fair, Ibuki saber and Koyan spend all their time together, but Ibuki summer will be chilling with Castoria, she didn’t want me to forget her ever, and I will not.

Being a spouse to Morgan initially was another word for vassal. She expects you to answer to her and rely on her and no one else. As the bond level progresses, she seems to show insecurities as to her place in Chaldea, hence the whole Berserker firing thing in her Bond 3. As more time is spent she has learned the value of compromise and has since treated you as an actual spouse. At bond 5, and LB6 progression, she finally understands the folly of having to bear the burden of ruling a kingdom all by herself and has resolved to include you as well as others she cares for in her future endeavors

I looked into Suzuka Gozen's bond curve and for bond 2-5 it is 0, bond 2-5 is just 6,125 each, I guess thsi fits with her lore of looking for love as a servant. Whether this means Suzuka is very attached to the MC or is just super friendly I have no clue.

The artist of Suzuka during Summer 8 made it implicit that Suzuka only sees Ritsuka as a best friend and that's it, not in a romantic light. So you could argue we're just her best friend, so the little to no big bond requirement could imply that

I thought Asclepius' bond progression fit his personality perfectly! It's 4.5k for bond 1, which is the master getting acquainted. Then, it's a massive 20k for bond 2, where he loses all interest in the master and is just singlemindedly focusing on researching medicine. After that he finds out the master brings him great medical cases to study in the form of damaged servants, he warms up immediately to the master, only taking 2.5k points each for bonds 3 and 4. Then, it takes 10.5k for bond 5, where he takes a while to realise he cares for the master's wellbeing on a personal level. Also it's the exact same bond progression as Oberon which I think is really funny!
