13:14 okay that's just wrong She should not fully refund from an NP plus a single quick or arts crit She should get 9*1*1.14*2.5=25.65% and 4*1.14*2.5*2*2=45.6% and if you were to do something like arts card from one of the Skadi supports and then Medusa's NP plus quick crit (so that this way she gets arts starter bonus) she would get 4*1.14*2.5*3*2=68.4% Even with the arts starter bonus, the NP plus the quick crit do not fully refund (25.65%+68.4%=94.05%) and this is assuming double summer Skadi (who gives you better gains, but is overall arguably worse for someone with a full quick deck) Now, with a CE that gives you gains, quick up, or even gauge per turn, or even with some CCs, or even overkill, she could be able, but definitely not just with the NP plus a quick crit (I didn't talk about the arts crit because it's straight up worse anyway) Still for a quick servant with 3 quick face cards and a 50% battery thats really good

@@gudakoalter There's a reason why they never buff Okita NP, and probably won't, because she already has the 2nd strongest NP of all ST saber at NP1, just slightly behind Nero Bride, and way stronger than any other Buster or Art Saber, buffing her NP would make her completely unbalanced compared to her peers.

It also requires her to get both her quick cards up on the same turn, and even then the damage result is for a singular turn. It's not a useful skill for farming. Also, you're going off the damage spreadsheet which is taking into account a 1T mana burst, whereas Medusa is going to have those numbers for 3 turns.

I'm happy as hell Medusa finally after 8 years of this game has a kick ass version she deserves, still frustrated a bit we don't get a summer variation, but I will take what I can get, definitely gonna roll for her in two years. Unless the anniversary servant or summer ones are absolutely game breaking, she is my goal.

I love how she`s simply staying at or close to full health for the entirety of the prison tower run on a solo. I was scared that she`d be a boring unit after seing her skillicons on JP without having the translations at hand, but I`m happy to see that it`s the opposite. She`s amazing and it`s quite cool to see her mystic eyes actually translate well into gameplay for once. Her NP animation is worth looping as well... I love that close up. Great review :D

Okita will always be my best quick saber! 😍 But I like Medusa too, and finally we get a version of her who show how strong she can be. A combo with Eruryale and Stheno as medusa support would be nice, maybe even just limited against men attribute.

At first, i thought she is kinda mid, considering her 6 turn cd with her invul and nothing else, but after more thinking, i get now why u believe this take since with petrify, she can literally buy time for your invul to pop off again and with the solo command codes like the heals and stuff, it makes sense. Being able to spam her NP with her ridiculous NP gain and i could see it quite similar to Kama with her charm lock, losing on demand stun/charm and np gain for more damage Nice video! Yeah that 50% makes more sense for Buster and I’m happy they’re making the Quick NPs higher in dmg overall. I do wish they had designed quick better. Arts is about spamming the NP reliably and sustainably over the course of even longer fights. Buster is about using all skills and smacking them with huge damage in a short period of time, the opposite of Arts sustainability but equally reliable. Then Quick should NOT be about being somewhere in the middle and represent a 3rd separate playstyle. Arts and Buster are not even actual opposites, they ply similarly so it doesn’t make sense to try and make Quick the weird hundred of it. Currently Quick is smacking for high damage though not as high as Buster and in a consistent, sustainable way though not as sustainable as Arts. It has its crit stars but for some reason even the quick supports keep trying to go down the road of NP charge toward loops, ATK buffs, NP dmg, and card type steroids. Hell Koya and the Merlins seems to be more about crit stars than either Skadi. Sooooooo many mechanics I can come up with that would utilize excess crit stars. So far they’ve really only come up with utilizing the crit stars via skill costs but there are other ways to utilize it. Also for face cards I can think of so many non game breaking ways they could utilize it. I mean they already started one of “my” (it’s theirs ever since the Demon Pillar attacks) ideas with the AoE face card attacks by Olga. The BB card lock and Bunnytoria shuffle is a nice direction but not nearly enough! I demand more complex and creative Quick plays that make the face cards more fun. I mean just imagine a ST Quick Servant who’s NP simply turns all the current face cards into their own and just lets you brave chain forever.

imo just because r.skadi's the objectively better quick support, don't be easy to discount og skadi. for cases where the quick dps has 3 quick cards (rikyu, meduseiba), og skadi's mileage is way better as r.skadi's buster crit up will only be used once

Basically Saber Kama with a less reliable way to buy turns in exchange for the petrify not being weak to charm immunity which is rather prevalent on modern bosses... Great Servant overall

Now to wait for more buffs for Gorgon, since she's meant to be the strongest Medusa lorewise. Though really, I wish some Sabers that have been left by the wayside like Altera could get meaningful buffs to keep up since a lot of top servants in lore tend to suffer from early FGO design and fall behind those intentionally made to be the bleeding edge. Plus, the sheer number of alternate units some get compared to others (not counting event units like swimsuits and Christmas) makes it seem like a lot of popular servants have been left by the wayside. We're still yet to get Archer Herc and so on that have been indicated by the lore but never directly ahown.

You cant compare her to dioscuri since they are different card type, plus dioscuri is better at hard boss content (Cqs and sometimes farming) while medusa beats them onky in term of solo
