Also, gorgons are considered a type of vampire (i.e. a species of blood-sucking creature) and Medusa drank Shirou's blood in F/SN so it makes sense that her older sisters could also drink blood (it's strange that Medusa herself doesn't have this skill)

One reason Arjuna could have Clairvoyance is due to the Vishvarupa chapter of Bhagavad Gita having Krishna show Arjuna his "universal form" as Brahman, the ultimate reality of the universe. Fun fact, that chapter is also where the phrase "I am become death, the destroyer of worlds" comes from. It honestly pisses me off a bit that witnessing the ultimate truth of existence only gives you a slight boost in perception, though. Like, seriously, some translators literally title the chapter "The Cosmic Visions", and somehow it's only slightly superior to EMIYA's Clairvoyance?

I think the reason instinct manifests as a star bomb is that in lore instinct allows the user to make the impossible possible or make a favourable outcome more likely. This is similar to additional stars that make crits more likely (and if you start with 0 stars, make crits even possible)

Revelation is not ruler specific skills cause Solomon have that skill too. In game description revelation is skill to hear the voice of Heaven and take the most appropriate action accordingly. So revelation is skill to represent someone who in history can communicate with God like saint or prophet.

An important note for Hans is that in his FGO Profiles, it specifies that his readers viewed him not just as a "fairy tale author," but a cruel author. I never caught on to the part where it said he suffers the same wounds as his main characters, though... that's really fascinating! I actually read through The Little Mermaid recently and thought the ending was very heartwarming and wholesome (despite the tragedies the heroine had to face). I simply can't imagine Andersen being a heartless bastard when he wrote such a beautiful and moving story about a noble, pure, and selfless protagonist. Remember: Hans originally wrote The Little Mermaid as a story that ends in _failure._ The MC ends up _failing_ to fulfill the conditions of her ascent onto dry land and turning into seafoam. I was also guessing Daybit, could be a servant. I mean he’s the last Krypter aside from Anya’s friend. There has to be something special about him aside from being just a really good mage. I’m just guessing but maybe he could have be a seed planted by the alien god from the very beginning. But if he has a skill given to world changing historical figures I thought he could have been a Conquistador since he was in charge of the South American Lostbelt. i figured instinct turned into a star bomb in game because if you can predict what your opponent can do while fighting you are more likely the catch them off guard and deliver a fatal blow (hence why the more stars you have, the higher the crit chance)

Revelation is not a Ruler class skill, given by the fact Solomon has it, the skill you are describing is True Name Discernment. Revelation actually allows you to "hear the voice of the heavens" i.e. how revalation is described in any Abrahamic text.

Fate sure does have an interesting magic system but there's one thing I don't like about it and that is that it is unfair because to even become a servant you need to be recognized as a legendary figure which is something that you don't even necessarily have to work for you could simply be just a bunch of people spreading rumors about you that stick around after your dead and even for non-servants who can get really strong by using magic the only reason they can use magic is because they have magic circuits which they inherited from there family sure they have to train and educate themselves to use magecraft and I even heard that it might be possible for a normal person to make a mystic code if they have the right resources but the problem with that is that most of the general public don't know about magic basically meaning that in the world of fate there are some people simply born that are seemingly predestined to be able to have a big impact on the world because of their magic circuits and no matter how hard you train you won't be able to use magic firstly because they don't know what they exist and secondly because you don't have the magic circuits or the resources to use it and becoming a servant is basically all up to luck because even if you do try to become a legendary figure there's no way that you can guarantee that you'll become a legend even if you are extremely skilled so yeah I like fates magic system because of how interesting it is but I also don't like how unfair it is to the average person not being able to access it because of a lack of information.

Maybe. Passives for sure. The thing is that as the game progresses servants have gotten more and more specialized skills that are unique to them, rather than semi universal skills like charisma or battle continuation.

Tbh Instinct isn't that bad, there are much worse skills. 15 Crit stars meant on average an increased dmg and NP gain of all 5 face cards by 30% for one turn, and that's without considering you can choose those cards that get more crit stars, control the star absorption and increase crit damage. It got weaker since getting stars was easier and easier, but it's still a lot better than a "30% Star gen for 3 turns" or a golden rule. And most importantly, you can choose to use the skill when you need it, unlike any kind of star generation, which only gives you the stars on a delay

I like Fates magic system but I also don't like it because of how unfair it is to the average person the average person doesn't have magic circuits so they can't use magic normally and the only way they could use magic would be if they made a mystic code but then the second problem comes up that most people don't know that magic even exist so unless someone gets extremely lucky to figure out about magic or somehow manages to figure it out some other way most people aren't using magic meaning that most people are just going to have to stay average with seemingly no hope of becoming strong and being able to actually affect the events of the story it's a personal preference of mine but I don't like settings where some people are seemingly doomed to a life of mediocrity and other people based off of pure luck are able to achieve spectacular feats.

All of Achilles’ in game skills are his noble phantasms in lore. Since the game only allows for servants to have three skills (if we ignore passives) the devs thought it would just be cooler to represent them as NPs rather than his regular skills.

In lore, servants can have multiple skills and noble phantasms but in game this is sometimes not used as they use 1 np and 3 skills for gameplay purposes. There are a handful of servants in which their bio also states that they do have certain skills/nps but that they are not represented in game.

His real NP, were it transcribed into gameplay terms, would give him 11 stacks of Guts that increased his defenses every time one of them was popped. And that STILL wouldn't be as BS as his actual NP.
