KLIK3U By Chamberlain & The LiftMaster 375UT remote control are almost identical & have the same program instructions. Thank you! I was trying to program a Chamberlin MC100 and followed their directions to my Genie Pro Max....nothing. It was the six presses of the button on the new remote that did the trick.

Hey, five years later, I found this incredibly helpful. Just picked up the same remote at home depot, and have the same Genie opener. I tried programming, did the same six, red light on opener went solid, but then I couldn't get the opener to work. looks like I just didn't finish the proper sequence of pressing the internal remote button again and then the remote opening button. Got flustered, wondering if the remote actually worked with my model or not, so thank-you, I will give this another try tomorrow.

Thank you so much. I watched 4 different videos and yours was the only one that told me genie was 5 or 6 clicks on the remote and that I had to turn off the remote first and then push the button again to turn off the LED light. SUCCESS! Thanks again.

My Motor's Button no longer works. Is there a way I can use an aligator clip or something to allow me to program another remote. The button goes in, and does not come back out.

Why are my censers turn on the remote is program but it only open door but it wont closed i have to closed it manual but i need to hold down the button of my garage door opener ??

Joel, located on the bottom left and right of the garage door frame are two safety sensors. If they are not aligned, then the door door will not go down. If one of those sensors has a light that is on, then the two sensors are aligned. If there is no light, bend the sensor until it is aligned with the other and the small light goes on. Hopefully this will fix the problem.
