I think Klim really lost something with this helmet. The F4 ECE was in a class of its own for ventilation and weight. But the new F3 takes a step backwards, very similar to the mediocre competition in those respects. Maybe shaving 100 dollars will result in more sales, but it's still a bummer from the gear geek perspective. ~RyanF9

Is this helmet built for winter, or summer/winter? The F4 had a breath box and cold weather liner, this one does not. Curious on how warm it is compared to the F4. Also will the old Radius goggles make a good seal?

It's an all-around, all-season helmet that vents well, but it doesn't have the massive vents or Windstopper liner of the F4. Also, yes, the old Radius Goggles will seal well. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/klim-motorcycle-helmets

On the website it's listed as round oval? Thanks

We may need to update the website. I find it has an intermediate oval to slightly neutral/round fit. It's a bit wider than some other intermediate oval helmets, but personally I do not consider it round oval. -DrewZilla

@@RevZilla that apparently was the only listed round oval dirt bike helmet available. Any recommendations for rounder intermediate oval helmets?

Besides the F3, the only other helmets that are a bit on the rounder side are the Arai VX Pro and the HJC dirt helmets. -DrewZilla *www.revzilla.com/arai-vx-pro-iii-helmets *www.revzilla.com/hjc-dirt-dual-sport-helmets

Heavier than F4?
@RevZilla8 жыл бұрын
Yes and no. The DOT/Snell F4 is 3.48 lbs. The ECE-only F4 is 2.75 lbs. The DOT/ECE F3 is in between at 3.2 lbs. -DrewZilla
