I had purchased the Induction Pro Jacket and these for summer touring here in the San Joaquin Valley of California where it can be brutally hot. The rest of the year I wear the KLIM Badlands Pro Jacket and pants. I was surprised the pants do not come with a tailbone pad for protection as the Badlands and others do. Heat does not reduce risk. I purchased a set of KLIM suspenders as I found due to the weight of the pants a belt allows slippage regardless of how tight. I am very happy with these pants (and coat) and have used them during summer rides in Death Valley, Nevada and Arizona.

Just a reminder; height and weight don't = a waist measurement just like height and weight don't = a chest measurement for jackets. Reading sizing tags on pants isn't that hard when we shoot these things.

You’re right Alan. He’s busting at the seams but it super long. More like a 34/42 imagine how uncomfortable it’ll be when he’s sitting on a bike. He’s busting at the seams up top!

Not only of stock, but no sense of when stock will be replenished. Also, I wish this company and others had sizes for bigger people.

Weirdly enough, this year the Mojave pants got refreshed with the exact same Karbonite mesh, use more stretch material, and offer higher durability impact zones. The only thing these give in comparison is belt loops and a fit that only works with more street boots.

Mojave doesn’t come with the d30 armor so that’s extra cost. I have crashed with level 1 and I think they should be sufficient

@@aveerides Well sure, but you can put any armor you want in the Mojaves and get a nicer fitting pant for $100 cheaper (after adding L1 D3O if you go that way).

A week ago, my knee found a fire hydrant hidden in bushes in the desert at 3am @ 10-15mph, sudden stop, My left leg hit first and was sandwiched between the bike and the F.H, I went flying which sucked my leg out from between the bike and F.H. I was very thankful to have lvl 2. D30 Probably saved my knee. I had a limp for 1.5 days and my leg was surface scratched for about 12inches but no damage at all to my Klim Baja S4 pants. Bike broke the windshield, dented tank and yellow scratch all down the side. Lucky to walk away without a broken leg, still have some soreness and some sharp shocking pain if I stomp my foot but it’s probably bruised muscle.

That thing looks like a 32/42 lol such a crap fit imo. Imagine how tight that’s gonna feel on homie when he sits on the bike. The loops are a tell that’s it’s busting at the upper seams from the jump. It appears that the chief designer got the email about making the waist bigger for the American market backwards and accidentally made the pant lengthier instead.
