I'd like to see an ITB pant for this. The Enduro shell could still be OTB so you would still get the weather protection down to your ankle. For hot weather, I don't even consider over the boot anymore. If I'm off road, I'm wearing big mx boots anyways. I don't need more fabric over my already hot lower legs. Right now I wear Mojave pants with d3o inserts, on or off road when it's hot. I know it's technically an off-road pant, but I'm not made of money, and I'm not carrying on and off road pants with me everywhere I go.

We thought the same thing when seeing these for the first time, but it does also make sense for them to keep the Mojave and Dakar ITB Pants for those riders. Since most riders looking for ITB pants are likely looking for Knee Braces instead of Knee Armor to match their aggressive riding and MX boots. A few of us in the office (including Spurgeon) have been rocking the Dakar and Mojave ITB Pants for years and still love them. I think a ITB version of this pant with the same materials would just be a bit too expensive for most riders to consider purchasing. I'm looking for a jacket for warmer weather versus a do-it-all jacket as I already have the Alpinestars Andres V2 which is comfortable from about 20F to 70F before I get to hot. I ride a KTM 1290 SAR over both asphalt and dirt/seasonal roads in the northeast. The bike is certainly more capable than the dead meat holding onto the back of it, so I would like gear that is robust to some tumbles on the seasonal roads/modest trails. Prioritizing summer comfort, mobility/flexibility, and durability, am I better off with the Klim Baja S4, Marrakesh, Induction, or even something like the Rev'It Airwave 3 line?

Biggest flaw this jacket has is it doesn’t have a midsection cinch. Fits perfectly but is just big around the midsection

I’ve recently bought a Badlands Pro jkt + trousers based on the excellent Revzilla reviews but in a choice between the Cayenne Pro and Baja S4 which would you recommend for European summer on road riding predominately?

Both provide excellent ventilation and have similar abrasion resistance. The main difference is that the Baja S4 has CE Level 1 armor and is more affordable, while the Cayenne Pro has stronger CE Level 2 armor and is a bit more expensive. -DrewZilla *bit.ly/Klim_BajaS4 *bit.ly/REVIT_CayennePro

I've ridden in both and I prefer the Klim to the Rev'It! It's a bit lighter and more comfortable in hot weather.

@Spurgeon Dunbar and @RevZilla. I got a Cayenne Pro suit from Burn Out Motor in Italy for £585 including postage to the UK. I think that equates to the cost of a Baja S4 jacket here in Europe. I will let you know how the Badlands and Cayenne Pro compare when we move from freezing temps and flooding over here. Thanks again guys for your replies.

Both have a ton of stretch and breathability, but the Marrakesh is designed for the Street / Commuting / Touring while this Baja S4 is an ADV option from Klim.

What would you recommend coming from a badlands jacket. It's a wonderful 3 season jacket but on 100F+ days its really rather hot. Would you recommend this one or the induction one? Thank you!

Di Saar The induction is more Street oriented jacket with a higher waste cut. It’s also much more crunchy and stiff.

Is it usable at 35 degrees Celsius?

Everyone has a different tolerance for heat, but this jacket does very well when moving at that temperature. Any jacket is hotter when sitting in traffic at that heat, but this jacket offers plenty of airflow and venting which means as long as you keep moving you should be as comfortable as you can be in the summer heat.
