It can be a used three seasons by wearing a down mid layer and Klim’s Zephyr windshirt. Works very well.

I would say 4 seasons if you add a heated liner under the down mid layer

Layering works really well for me, and these are what I also wear under my Induction Pro. Adding An LD Comfort or Marino Wool base layer keeps the warmth in. And if it rains? A Scott or Klim Forecast Gore-tex shell. None of this stuff adds much bulk, so they can be worn easily under the jacket without looking like a marshmallow, and they pack down small when not in use.
