*Not legal advice*, but I've heard a few producers w/ 200k+ monthly listeners talk about this before. They basically say 'change it enough to where you can't recognize it'. Even with that said, most of Knock2's cool vocal shouts are from early 2000's rap/pop. Does he get 'approval'? Possibly, but I'd guess no. There is an artist who has released on NIGHTMODE, I talk about him all the time, one of his songs has a completely ripped youtube vocal of an older rap song. It has 500k+ streams, no big deal at all. If you are tiesto and you sample Head Will Roll, I think that would raise some eyebrows. TLDR: I wouldn't worry about it.

@@KlingMusicsounds dope, did u see the James hype video where he took a 90s samples vocal recording for his new song, run it threw 6-7 ai voices, basically chained them to all in one voice together and in the end result says he’s not facing any legal actions, cause it’s now “his recording”? would love to hear your opinion on it, or is this still not true cause James hype is that big that he’s allowed to use them (+ not showing if a voice is as a base ai generated before adjusted?) I hope this question is understandable idk anything about this topic and just would love to hear where this can go and what to expect 😅?
