the erosion and the perforation arew both from the cholesteatoma. The fungal is just the cherry on top

I love your channel, but I personally wish you left out the "DIRTY" of the title. I watch for interesting medical cases, not how gross it is. You could have included how their eardrum was perforated, and any other interesting info. It may also help expose the video to more people, allowing it to be higher in the results when people search for something like "fungus eardrum perforation".

Yeah if it's acute. If it's an old injury that was never allowed to heal, it's much more unlikely to heal up and stay closed.
