It might have something to do with the fact that recording a set of speakers and then putting it through A/D, youtube's sampling, your D/A and then your speakers makes it completely dumb for any sort of comparison?

The RP-6000f's have more of a reddish hue, while the RP-600M's are golden/copper kind of colour. Is that something Klipsch have changed, or did I purchase some fake ones?

Hey my friend, thanks for reaching out and for watching our videos. Your room can accommodate the rp-6000f. The rp-6000f and 600 M are very similar but the 6000f has quite a bit more low-end frequency response. Meaning Kick Drum Bass and bass guitar will be quite a bit better. Got a bunch more to come. If pairing them with a large SVS subwoofer, would there be a point i getting the 8000 over the 6000 if all if not most of the LF effects will be handled buy a sub?
@DivineAV
@DivineAV 3 жыл бұрын
The 8000f has a better mid-range. They have equal high frequency response. If stereo listening without a subwoofer, the 8000f will certainly excel beyond the 6000f. If mostly watching mainstream movies and TV shows, with a large subwoofer, you wouldn't really be able to tell the difference between the 6000 and 8000f

How they are with Marantz for Metal/Rock? Specifically Marantz PM7000N with Klipsch RP-6000F? A lot of people saying to me that Marantz is not so good for Metal music...
@DivineAV
@DivineAV 4 жыл бұрын
Yeah I would say a Yamaha receiver, something RX a 1080 or higher would be a far superior choice for metal. Its definitely is going to do a much better job in the high frequency range and reproduce the electric guitar with more clarity. Marantz is pretty decent in the mid-range which is good for smooth jazz and acoustic guitar. If you've already got it for now, I would just go ahead and use it until you can upgrade.

I think you can come close to the same sound if you adjust the attenuators on your source. Being its a very good source. That said, I like the 6000. The 8000 is nice too, but, it would be better in a larger space. It's funny, I own a pair of original RF-7's and i prefer them over the ll's and the lll's. I reall think space and amplifications helps put that into play.

6000s are more than adequate for the majority of rooms. If your room is extremely large, you might consider the larger speakers. Besides that, the low frequency response is certainly better on the 8000 but you need a lot of power to really take advantage

Zeta Reticulans Was the microphone Height adjusted when switching speakers ? Pretty sure what we are hearing is the microphone being more in line with the rp-6000 tweeter (height) The rp-8000 being taller , the microphone is receiving the sound from a mid point between the twitter and the woofer Making it Seem to Sound Fuller and more laid back
@DivineAV
@DivineAV 3 жыл бұрын
The microphone is actually positioned between the two tweeters, after vigorous testing, we found that to be the best position and we found no significant difference with minor microphone placement adjustments. It sounds that way because that's how the speakers literally sound. The 6000 tends to be a bit more pitchy and not as warm. They are both fantastic speakers but slightly different. A bit of RTA calibration quickly makes the 8000 brighter or tones down the 6000 high frequency response

Ok thanks for the clarification What about the rp5000 vs rp6000? Is the difference as drastict ? I also see that from rp 4000 to rp8000 all have different size wave guide From smaller to bigger surface area for the same tweeter diameter. Does this bigger surface area changes the sound of the tweeter ? Thx
@DivineAV
@DivineAV 3 жыл бұрын
@@zetareticulans4142 there is definitely a pretty distinctive difference between each model. Even the little 4000f offers a pretty full sound but no where near as balanced as the 8000f. The tractrix horn definitely plays a part in the pitch and dispersion of sound. The larger the better.

The 6000f is a 600m with one additional driver. So yes you will get quite a bit less low end on the 600m due to one less driver and the smaller chamber. That being said those 600m's are amazing so if you're looking for a smaller footprint I guarantee you would not be disappointed.

Neither one of them are Bluetooth wireless speakers. They are passive speakers that require a receiver and wiring from the receiver to the speaker itself. They are designed to be used in a stereo configuration or with a full home theater system. The 280-f has been discontinued and the 8000f has replaced it.

Hard to tell, but it looks like you put the mike on axis with the 6000F and off axis with the 8000F. This would change FR and explains the perceived stark differences in the vocals. Regardless, you'd have to properly test this and put up a FR and impedance chart to get a better sense (for me anyhow). A KZbin boomed mic is pretty limiting.

Denon makes a decent product and that particular model would be adequate for a 6000F. I'd personally go for a Yamaha 2080. Yamaha pairs well with these units and has a more extensive EQ. Thanks for watching and let us know if you need any products.

Hey boss, yeah that looks like a great set up. We just did a home with 6000f and 404c and we will be posting that video soon. I'd recommend pairing the SPL 150 or spl120 with that system to maintain proper Timbre matching. The Marantz is a good unit but I think the Yamaha 2080 would do a better job especially because you have more extensive tuning capabilities and that's what Klipsch recommends for their products as well. You're on the right track. If you are in the states, feel free to shoot me a text at 214-600-4144 and I can get you the best pricing on these products to you if you haven't already purchased them. Thanks, my brother, we work in the industry, I assure you that we know about the compression on KZbin. However, we are using very high quality microphones and you can certainly tell the difference in mid-range and high-frequency clarity. You need to be playing it back on a system with decent dynamic range. Decent headphones would work as well.

Would a denon 3500H handle those RP 6000 in a 7.2 setup ?
@DivineAV
@DivineAV 4 жыл бұрын
Yes, no problem at all. They are extremely efficient and have lightweight drivers. They do not need tons of power to produce high quality full range sound. If you provide a bit more power you will get enhanced bass response but your receiver will adequately provide what the speaker needs for mid-to-high level performance out of the units

I just bought my first house and its coming with a projector and screen already installed for the theater room. Unfortunately I couldn't get them to throw in the current $32k B&W speaker system. I'm thinking of getting 2 x RP8000F, 2 x RP600M, 1 x RP504C and 1 x SPL120. I'm pretty sure all of these will work nicely together but I don't have a lot of experience with sound systems. Is there something in here I should change with something else? What amplifier / receiver should I get to go with this? Any advice you guys could provide would be greatly appreciated. The theater room is 18ft by 10ft but it's open to the rest of the main basement area which is 18ft by 36ft.

Great review do think that the 6000 will work in a apartment?
@DivineAV
@DivineAV 4 жыл бұрын
Without a doubt boss. You should be able to play at low to medium volume without disturbing the neighbors. Even at lower levels the 6000f will provide a very full and balanced sound. The 5000f will also do a decent job. It will just lack a bit of lower bass frequency response. I recommend pairing a 6000f put something like a Yamaha 880 or 1080bl. If using 6000F in Stereo config, probably no need for a subwoofer. Feel free to shoot us an email if you need advice or products.

Your receiver will provide adequate power for the 6000f. You should be able to push them quite hard with that receiver. The only reason to upgrade do a separate amplifier would be to get a cleaner total harmonic Distortion or something like that but at that point you'd be looking at separates from a higher-end company. No please don't do that! It will change the ohm load on the speakers and it is not safe. The top post is for the tweeter and the bottom one is for the copper drivers. Theres two post there so you can remove the metal and bypass the crossovers to achieve bi amp. What you need to do is run a new dedicated set of wires for the 500 sa's.
