Drove for KLLM in 1995-97 Truck 13520. I enjoyed it but wished I went with C.R. England because their drivers routinely got coast to coast runs, I rarely did, they kept me from Texas to the East coast. They gave me my start. I averaged 2200-2500 miles.

I mess with your profile picture heavy. And it's likely they tested hair that you had while you smoked. It takes new hair about 3 months to grow. So if they tested hair that you had while you did smoke, that's most likely why you failed it, unfortunately. HOWEVER, that goes into the KLLM system only, so you can still get hired other places. It only affects any job if you fail the urine test.

That's smart, and that's good. And as far as laundry, it costs at the hotel, but if you go to the drivers lounge (if you're brave enough to just go there, they won't question it but you might be nervous) the laundry is free.

Here's a tip for all you folks thinking about becoming professional commercial truck drivers. Stop using drugs and get your lives together. The trucking trade can be very lucrative for you and your family. It can raise you out of poverty and into a better life. That is 20 times more valuable than the so called sacrifice of not being able to get high anymore!!! It is a no brainer. Driving a heavy vehicle on major highways/roadways is a major responsibility and privilege. Respect your life and the lives of other drivers on the road. God bless.

I have two misdemeanors one dating more than 5 years and the other one dating more than 3 years. The recruiter was going to process my paper work and give me a call back in after the weekend to confirm. I’m praying that I’m good to go. I’ve changed a lot for the better

@Gwatts45 (This is my reply to another similar comment, but this is my recommendation.) They say the hair go back 3 months, though. I'd wait 3 months, then cut the hair where you want to take it from, then let 3 months of new growth come back before you test (that's at the least, but you can wait longer if you'd like) they can take hair from your head, arm, leg, or chest. It's up to you... this is why I recommend 6-9 months.

You don't get your own truck until you upgrade so you'll stay in the hotel and get back and forth to school with the schools van, and once you get your own truck you can park anywhere trucks are allowed and sleep there inside the truck. Usually KLLM pays for it, both KLLM and FFE. It would help if you had the permit already, though.

That I'm not sure. I think it depends on the area to be honest. I'd call and check, but most people say they want you to have at least 3 months experience if you already have your CDL

I was told it goes back 3 months, and I tell people to wait 3 to 6 months to be on the safe side. But I definitely think you'd pass. The hair folical test only (allegedly) goes back 3 months due to how fast the human hair grows, so 6 months (in theory) should be more than enough time.

I'm not sure, each company is different when it comes to certain medications, but I believe if it makes you sleepy, it's a no-go because that's dangerous. But you'd have to ask the company to be certain

@SincerelyKamryn Ohhhhh, I'm so sorry, I read break test and drug test😭yea. Make sure the one you found is a KLLM one. The tug test is simple, but the air break test is slightly different per company, and you have to get 100% on that. So you don't want to create a bad habit. 🙏🏽

That's actually a good question, I'm not entirely sure. I'd suggest, call the kllm terminal (doesn't matter which one) and ask to speak to the operator and then ask her, she should know that answer. I hope this helps🙏🏽

To be honest I'm not sure what the bottom bed is but you can for sure fit two adults on it, the top bed is for sure a twin or the smallest type of bed. I'm not too familiar with bed sizes. It's about 40 inches across when I measured though

Typically it only goes back 90 days but it's recommended to wait 6 months to be sure because you never know. But if you fail its so much harder to just "try again" so better safe than sorry lol. But yea, technology is crazy nowadays.
