@@samgoffenguitar it's so hard to tell! I already have a moxie and the tube screamer voice on that is really good. I also have a blues breaker style pedal but am intrigued by the nobles or similar wampler belle to replace it.

@@steventhomas231 they can sound really similar. Love the BluesBreaker circuit too. Just sounds great set to edge of break up on a clean amp, or pushing a slightly dirty amp:)

The mid frequency of the Klon is nice, but its distortion is so weak and hollow, in this video the "Tubescreamer" sounded the best, by far! In my own experiment with a Digitech Hardwire CM-2 it was the same. But it can't get clean, and the Klon can.

That Klon sounds frankly superb. But the BOO tubescreamer too, well that sounded creamier than my Maxon OD9. Both would be better suited to me than the Nobels. Nice comparison, I enjoyed it. Cheers.

Thx Steve. Very kind of you to give your views:) the Boo is pretty good huh:) I liked the Nobels as a cleanish boost best. Didn’t like it so much providing the gain compared to the other two. Klon I think is my favourite for both of those jobs, although the ‘legs akimbo’ TS was also great :)

Not really a fair comparison with the tone control on the Nobels...it works differently than a normal tone control. Turning it clockwise increases bass and treble together.

Thx for the comment. To be fair, how would you like the tone controls compared then if they work differently ? The comparison isn’t about three pedals that are meant to be very similar, as they are all a bit different. It’s about letting people hear how they are similar in some ways but different too so you might be able to decide which could work in your rig. All are great, but yes, they are different to each other of course. I don’t think the fact that the designs are different makes anything “unfair” :) I found it very interesting to make hearing them side by side. The gain structure was the most interesting thing for me along with dynamics. Thx for watching, and the comment:) I always appreciate any feedback
