A remake's trailer came out today. The opening looks even worse than the Wii one, which looked worse than the PS1 one. What has 25 years of technology even done? :(

@@lamptrent, the original was an actual video, so there were no limitations to animating other than the quality of the actual video and the frame rate. Since both remakes are actually in the game's engine, they may not look as great as the original. However, they can still put effort into real time cutscenes.

I played this on Sony PS Vita as PS1 for the first time in 2016 and it was amazing. I never played it on Sony PS1 before. I wish I played it on same console as a kid before. It first came out in December 1997 in Japan 🇯🇵🗾, then it came out in spring 1998 in North America such as the USA 🇺🇸 and Canada 🇨🇦 and finally it came out in June 1998 in Europe, Australia and New Zealand.

I think he's supposed to be some sort of anthropomorphic domestic dog. More specifically a hound dog (Y'know, the breeds with the floppy ears?) considering that his edgelord friend in the newer games is a anthro wolf.
