Amazing playing ! I love watching this one and sharing it on with my students! So - a few things: 1. I will ** attempt ** to prep this etude for a concert in a month. Any tips ?? 2. I found the sheet music (before noticing you so graciously shared it here in the comments..) and it says - composed by Ludwig Sphor. Is it possible Klose just put it in his book? Thank you so much Yehiel! Good luck for your concert! My only tips would be to stay relaxed, smooth, low tongue position for better intervals and blow warm air. This is a tricky study but makes us realize so many technical things. All the best!

Played by you like this, it has become my favorite too :-) Given that you have three other clarinets waiting to be to played behind you, you have to practice four times faster, it makes perfect sense! In the edition of these etudes (P. Cuper) that I just bought, this one is No.13 and it is twice as long, so if it took you 25 years to reach that perfection, I invite you in 50 years to check back on how I am doing (probably won't be nearly as good still).

Ann Corn Actually it is simple tonguing ! But I also practice my double tongue for other pieces with the Moyse method for flute, very helpful for me. All best ! 💪🏻

@@nicolasbaldeyrou1 About 20 years ago I was lucky enough to have the chance to try a rosewood Festival prototype and it was GORGEOUS. I do not believe that they ever released that clarinet, though.
