Love it when Jonesy gets an old London music hack or London muso from back in the day in for some reminiscing waffle.

Great show! Chris was there at the start. I always liked his stuff in the NME (when it was the finest read in music).

Yeah, it carries on. I've got a boot of that Nashville gig. Fucking great actually. Steve's guitar is something else. "They couldn't play". Nothing could be further from the truth.

LWT television in London had quite a bit of coverage of the start of the Sex Pistols career and that was how I first heard of them.

I read this book because I watched this video a year ago. Great book, eye-opening to me. I guess I never really thought about Jimmy Page's personal life before but I must admit his rep has gone down in my estimation since reading it. Probably why I didn't want to investigate too closely his private life. Still love Led Zeppelin though.

Each era of music has been good in its own way but the 1970s were the DIY era, learn 3 chords, nick a guitar and amp form a band, next week T.O.T.P.

We desperately need another rock god like Jimmy Page to emerge to kick all this commercial shit back into it's proper place. The world awaits the Anti-Pop Star.
