The stock 110 rear shocks have a 300lb spring rating. I put the 350lb in my ttr and it is awesome. I weigh 205.

I also upgraded to a heavier spring and it’s great.

From what I read when I just ordered one, the website said riders 165+ lbs should get the 250lbs shock, but 190+ lbs riders should go with the 350 shock. Im right at 190 so hope the 350 isn't too much. We will find out I guess.

The 250 was definitely not enough for a 200# rider.

I’m assuming you went with the 270mm (length)? I recently stepped my son up to a 65 from the 110. So now the 110 is for me to putt around on. I’m 6’3” and 185lbs, I was thinking about the DNM 280mm with the 300lb spring. I definitely want to raise the rear as much as I can but I don’t want to screw up the swingarm angles to much and have it ride like crap. So I am trying to find info about running the 280mm or the 270mm. For the front I was originally going to do the bbr springs and damping rods but once you add in oil and a rebuild kit it’s almost the same price as the complete new fork set. Not to mention they look better!

Buy the extended complete front set from TBOLTUSA. They are longer; and much better for adults.

Also buy the longest rear shock you can. I even added the 1” riser block on top of that. Perfect.

@@SevenFingerAdventures I ended up ordering the TBOLT extended length forks and the DNM 280mm with the 300lb spring yesterday! From what I’ve seen that is a fairly new spec shock. Most of what I found were either the 270mm with the 250lb or 350lb or the 290mm with the 250lb or 350lb. I ordered them from Factory Mini Bikes, they are only about 20 minutes away from me here in Southern California so I should get them tomorrow!

@@SevenFingerAdventures 280mm should be good. I don’t think if I added a 1” (25+mm) extender it would fit. That would make it a total of 305mm. Not that I am out there racing or trying to set some fast lap times but it would really mess up the suspension geometry.
