Hear me out, how bout we say screw the Mikuni and get a lectron carb for your klx100, they’re expensive yes but from what I hear they are worth every penny, nobody else has a video on a pit bike with one, be the first and show us all the difference they make on a little bike!

Wow dude. Those carbs look sweet. Idk about for the 110. But I'll be doing a klx140 build this winter for sure. Kinda feels like a waste to put 600 dollar carb on something that doesn't even make 10hp though😬
@Rust-eze9992 жыл бұрын
@@FullSpeedImpulse very true but It might make 10 hp with the carb lol! I know it is a healthy hit to the pocket for a pit bike but if it bolts up and keeps the bbr u flow in place I might take a shot at one myself, even after changing to the 22mm carb I’m running into headaches trying to get it tuned, partially because it’s so big I just cannot get the motion pro tool to work and partially just because I suck with carburetors lmao

@FullSpeedImpulse Жыл бұрын
I like to run outerwear’s on my air filters that are not enclosed in a airbox. These help with dust and water getting in. So whether your riding in wet conditions or just washing your bike it will help keep water out as long as your purposely not trying to get it wet.

Nope. Fits right up to the bbr intake stock carb 18mm boot. And stock intake(piece that goes to the motor) bolts right up. Never tried it on a stock air box though. Kind of would defeat the purpose. Hope this helps.

#1 mods for me were HD rims and spokes, BBR HD springs, and chain and sprockets. Those stock wheels are absolute garbage for an adult rider. I ovaled both wheels within 3 hours of riding (pretty hardcore racing). Also swingarm bearings instead of the stock bushing make a HUGE difference on the rear end feel.
@FullSpeedImpulse2 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comment. And yes I can tell the rims are starting to take a beating in our group. Never heard of the swing arm bearing upgrade before. Do these automatically get upgraded if you buy the bbr swingarm?
@justingardner35692 жыл бұрын
@@FullSpeedImpulse all of the aftermarket swingarms come with bearings instead of bushings. The main problem is the tightness of the swingarm is determined with bolt torque using bushings and over time they’ll wear out and you’ll have a loose rear end. The bearings allow you to keep it tight and have smoother and more movement. The bushings are an absolute nightmare to get out but the bearings go in easy. Lookup klx110 swingarm bearing kit and it will come up

Sweet yea I’ll have to check it out. I have a big bore sitting on the bench for it and I was kinda thinking about the extended swingarm then calling it good after that. Going to start switching over to nodding the 140 next. Video on that should be out today or tomorrow. Klx bend *
@FullSpeedImpulse2 жыл бұрын
Short version-Get the tall boys for anything 110cc and under. Long version-Well honestly it's all preference really. I'm 5'10 and I love the tall bars. While a guy taller then me in our Group runs a shorter bar. And my 10 year old boy doesn't have a issue jumping on my bike and ripping it with the tall bars. On our Klx140 I think we went with a pitbike low bar. I'd have to check but it's like a inch shorter then the xr50 bend but it's wider out.
I never ran a shifter brace yet. Do these protect your transmission if you lay the bike down on the shifter side? And have you ran into this issue?
@logannowak4010 Жыл бұрын
@@FullSpeedImpulse yeah it will save ur shifter shaft when u dump it on the left side because it’s easy for the shifter to get caught on a root or rock and bend the shifter shaft. Also a frame cradle is a must if you are a bigger dude and hitting any jumps or landing hard so you don’t rip foot pegs out of case
@logannowak4010 Жыл бұрын
@@FullSpeedImpulse also get an over the top rear brake lever too like a sik110 brake pedal so u don’t bend that out when h dump it

The cradle is definitely on the list and we do ride around a bunch of rocks if you seen any of our trips down to Kentucky. I plan on tearing the 110 down to the frame this winter and freshening her up. So these upgrades will be on the list for sure.
@FullSpeedImpulse Жыл бұрын
@@logannowak4010 sooo we actually bought one. But for whatever reason we go through rear brakes like no other( mud, water, big hills, etc…). So we are constantly adjusting the rear brake it seems. That being said if it’s over the peg you only have so much pivot room to engage the brake while if it’s under the peg you have more travel room. I have not put this to the test yet though. But I guess technically maybe it wouldn’t matter because of the way the rear drum is engages the pads you can only engage them so much if that makes sense. Guess I’ll just have to try it out. Lol.
