Very interesting to see an earlier Cal Worthington commercial before the famous jingle was added. All of those brand new Dodge Chargers! The CBS Late Movie promo dates to July 18, 1972.

This must have been between Brokaw leaving for network and Schubeck or Moyer’s arrival, as Jess traditionally just handled the 5pm news in those days.

Jess Marlow anchored the 11pm news on Sundays at that time as well as weekdays at 5pm. Paul Moyer anchors the 11pm on Saturdays and Tom Brokaw did the 11pm weeknights. John Schubeck didn't arrive at KNBC (from KABC) until November 1974.
