I’m definitely warming up to the idea of Boa being the best Kazuya due to his recent tournaments but I don’t think it’s open shut. He still hasn’t beat choksae or knee in the mirror. Knees Kazuya in tournaments also does great and Choksae doesn’t compete as much anymore. But when he does his Kazuya is smooth. What’s tricky about this conversation is that opponents that Boa can’t beat with Kazuya Knee can but the same thing can be said in reverse like Boa beating Arslan with Kazuya where knee failed.

Best kazuya players IMO:Knee(1A) Choksae(2 or 1b) 3.Boa/ CDP 4. Keisuke 5. Ikari or CBM. Honorable mentions: Aek, kodee,JDCR with CrossUp.

The thing is that Knee doesn't use Kazuya in most tournament matches, whereas Boa does. So we can't really draw a parallel.

@@IvanOrdell Exactly. And styles make fights so even when you use the same character as a counter-pick, you're not guaranteed to win. Boa can beat Arslan because he's truly willing to die by enforcing the Hellsweep, whereas in Evo 2019, you could tell that Knee was scared to 50/50 Arslan and be wrong. Boa was willing to be wrong and that's why he can win against Arslan with Kazuya whereas Knee failed. You can draw the parallel, but it's not exactly 1-to-1 because Boa's tournament character is Kazuya and Knee only uses him as a single tool in his proverbial toolbox.

@@IvanOrdell That’s true but all that tells us is that boa is a Kazuya main. If we put all 3 of them in a tournament and said you can only pick Kazuya I believe(opinion) Knee and Choksae would do slightly better. Plus that counter only applies to Knee and not Choksae. 2 years ago TMM and everyone on this channel considered Choksae the best all around Kazuya Player. He has the setups of CDP the explosiveness of Boa and great matchup Knowledge from being a veteran to the game.

Are you serious? Yeonarang ate a bunch of ff3's and he is a tournament level player. Reads and reactions are far from the same, reactions are actually SEEING the animation of a move. There's no telegraph on a FF 3 and a Hellsweep, if you block it that's not a REACTION that's a READ cuz you predicted the opponent's timing when he's gonna use it. A competent Kazuya will vary his timing with those moves, good luck reacting to it. EDIT: Watch the sequence at 21:05 This will explain everything.

They're new to the game, this people in his chat keeps pushing this idea that it can be reacted to. As a new fighting game player, people should be like a sponge to information. Soak it in and learn from other people, that's how you get better. Being humble and learning from mistakes can take you places, that's the very essence of fighting games and his chat is the opposite of it.

It's reactable in the sense that if you're hard ducking and looking for ff3, you can react to it. The same way that stature kick is reactable etc, doesn't mean they're consistently reactable like a snake edge or something.

There's no download kazuya at high level has horrible lows, bad poking and risking 50/50 yes he's my main but he's a pain because he lacks all of that and above they should take all of devil Jin lows and give them to kazuya for tekken 8 it's only fair dude .
