Knee pain in 14 year old football player

Transient patellar dislocation, lateral patellar subluxation, patella alta, congenitally shallow trochlear sulcus, and flat patellar articular surface.

Nice case thanks most of those findings could’ve been found on plain radiography with the sunrise view of the patella. Except for the bone bruise. Still a nice case.

Have you any images of a medial dislocation rather than a lateral dislocation? Medial dislocation is much less common and unlike lateral usually needs surgery. So far i have only seen one. Im sure your viewers would love to have a review as the findings are quite different

On the axial views patella also seems laterally displaced vs its normal position. Lateral patella Alta.
